I am trans and in NH and I am completely disgusted that there is a bill is even going to vote about banning gender affirming care and allowing conversion therapy here. The fact that they have been attacking transgender rights so much right now is just horrendous. Having better transgender care and awareness when I was a kid may have made my life easier and kept me from many suicide attempts.

Michael Knowles was announced as a speaker at my college - its a Big10 university. It is disheartening that the Young Republicans would invite him and that my money is going to pay for his visit. But the moment it was known he was coming protests were planned and multiple university organizations (LGBT Center, Student Union, etc.) condemned his visit; protesting is planned and I know even some community members are coming. All this to say - my protest sign will definitely say "Dead-eyed Nazi Freak" on it.

El Niño means countries on the western side of the Pacific are dry and the eastern side are wet. La Niña means the east side is dry and the west side is wet. La Niña three years in a row, as well as a positive Indian Ocean Dipole, mean that Australia has been unusually cold and wet for several years now. Our summers have been wet and miserable.
