It is truly insane that we are a "democracy" with only two parties and one of them has as its primary objective disenfranchising basically everyone instead of formulating policies or putting forth candidates that might actually be attractive to the majority of voters. And that's not even like, a "take" - it's literally what they are doing, and they wouldn't even deny it - "Don't govern; win."
