As many asked I did a wallpaper with Chet! Moving version available at wallpaper engine as always <3 Link - https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3716966583Hope you will enjoy this :3This month went kinda rough on me because I got issues with my eye ;_; One day I got a random stingy pain in it and from then my sight became hazy or blurry. Also feels swollen. But it is not visible and also though it seems blurry it actually does not. Like if i close one or another eye there is no difference. So I will have a doctor appointment next week will see shat they say because rn it messes up with my work a lot, its much harder to work like this >< I cant wait for it because it is sooo annoying I can take my eye off the socket just to make it stop ;___;But hey at least good weather is here! Finally it gets a bit warmer! Can have some nice nature walks very soon UwUAh! Also I have a question - I've never actually rented apartments before the ones I live in rn. It's been a year and I know that here are some issues here like there is an iron structured balcony and all day sun on that side which makes it unbearable to be in the apartments in the summer. Also it is quite dark here and the kitchen is not very big. Also the shower is awful it is like sooooo cold in the room cause ventilation goes too good that I always freeze cold even if I use burning hot water (which I don't like) Other than that the apartments are nice and the placement like in the city is awesome, i think it is one of the best. But! I've stumbled across other apartments. They are much further from the center and have a so-so placement. Its not awful but okay. But the apartments itself looks awesome and fits perfectly plus sea view hmmmm. But also new are a bit more expensive. And well Im struggling is I should consider a move to the new apartments or not? What would you prefer and why? Maybe you will help me to decide! :DI would actually like to have an experience of renting a small house here but they all are far from the centers ofc and the stores and such and I don't have a car or a driving license so I think it is not for me yet ;c What do you think?

I gotta say I love Chet so much

Star Light

Can't wait to see her in her own animation video!

258nano

Appears someone being a show off with thier stretching :p

Guardian

Im sorry about your eye and i unfortunately can’t give you any advice as i haven’t had any luck on getting an apartment

Karura

Actually, we (my hubby and me) had a similar situation. Appartment was cheap, but rest was...meh. no warm water during winter, let alone heat, and the managenent was horrible. We are now living basically in between our both workplaces, have warm wate and stuff, for it is a bit more expensive, but waay more relaxing abd feels more like home than the old one. I would say, if you can't really feel home in your current appartment, by all means do it. (Back to picture: yaaay, Chet! <3 )

ultraman400

Nice. Is fanart of your OCs allowed? If so, any rules?

Justin Smith

I agree with Karura that if your place doesnt feel like home that you should at least continue to look around. Sorry about your eye please take your time and don't push yourself we'll be here for you as your fans!

Sarah Perry

On suggestion for your eye it sounds like you have pressure from behind the eye. I would take some anti inflammatory while in stasus waiting for your Dr's appointment

User Unknow

Hey Eipril, I dont know where you live currently but if you dont have a car and no driving License then you should stay where you are rn. For the Temperatur Problem in your Bathroom: I would advise in Looking into a Heater or how to disable the Ventilation. Maybe switch into manuell Mode if you can. And why doesnt your bathroom have heating? Also get Well with your eye Get Well soon uWu

Lone Wolf Survivor

Well, if the renting situation improves and you can get a driver's license. Maybe it will get better. Hope the eye pain does improve, you shouldn't have the want to pull it out of your socket. Hope it gets better for you.

Valhymm

Chet's such a lovely girl, I especially like how she looks back at us 😍 If you want some advice for your eye, I know how it feels to want to take your eye out and cool it down 😅 just thinking if it could be irritation, or hayfever? In any case, I suggest lying down in a dark room with a cool cloth over it until you can get it checked properly 👍

that one guy

Personally without a car placement is everything in a city, if you think you can get around the city at the new place you were looking at then id recommend that. If itll be difficult then probably just stay at your current spot

Colord44

Yikes for the eye. Hope those get better soon. Apartment wise... You have both pros and cons. But I would suggest continue to look around cause your current apartment doesn't sound good in a number of ways.

Philly Okeechobee

A beautiful piece as always ❤️❤️❤️ Hope your eye treatment goes well, Eipril Quick question, how about some pin-ups/wallpapers of the guys too? I love your ladies, but I think the boyfs deserve a turn in the spotlight as well :3

Evo

I mean it really depends but if I'm gonna be honest I think moving would be a good idea, being on the sunside is like one of the worst experiences u can have in ur apartment, I have lived my whole life in a sunsided room/apartment and since I have moved to a place that gets only sun in the morning I have been doing allot better in every way u could imagine cuz even if its cold in the morning the sun kinda warms up the place and stops around midday (for me at least) so I think moving is the right choice

birthofneferpbee

I cannot talk from the Finnish pov, but from the Spanish pov, regarding the outstanding housing crisis here, that issues you comment with your apartment are invisibles for renters, also the weather and other conditions are different in Finland but, if I was you, I'll prioritize to get my drive license, and move to a little house as you said, with enough space for the cats, a small garden and fresh air, also, regarding the cats, imagine an emergency and you have to rush to the vet, there you have the car, soo... But that's my view, only

Dragon

I think you should take your time get better I'm going Go and take the driver's test and get your license and move into a house that way it'll be easier on you you ain't got to worry about being facing towards the sun and you'll have a big enough kitchen and you ain't got to worry about the light hitting you in the eyes when you wake up

IZiLLa

Chet is so fucking sexy

Skykipz14

Great work as always! This will match well with the Yue volleyball wallpaper. Hopefully, your eye gets feeling better. As for the apartment situation, I don't really know what to tell you. Ideally, you'd move to a better place, but need to be able to get to places. Here in America, you pretty much have to have a vehicle and license in most places.

Freakout

Hey Eipril, would you mind uploading the animated version here as well? You know, for those of us not using Wallpaper Engine.

Eipril

Yes! Sorry, I usually do but for some reason I forgot this time :( Should be updated now (animated in attachment!)

As an American, housing is very different. I personally can’t imagine having no car and no license… ok that’s a bit of a lie… I had a seizure in august and doctors order said I shouldn’t drive for 6 months. That being said, I had people around me to help. So what I recommend from how I would do things is when you arrive at your apartment, lie down somewhere. If you feel safe, comfortable, and get the sensation you’re ‘home’ then stay. If you don’t feel like where you live is home, then keep looking. Maybe getting a license and a car might be a good idea. I’m not exactly sure how it is in Finland, but to me having no car is having no social interaction. Or potentially you do look into the further apartments/ houses, and challenge yourself to do the extra walking. It may not be convenient, but there is no price when it comes to having the ability to go home after a long day and feel safe even when alone. It’s important that you view the place as yours and not as someone else’s and you’re just renting. Finding “home” is challenging, and minor things matter. If you want a house, get a house. In the end, you should see the house as yours. Where you make your mark.

The background is a bit too big for my tablet but I love her! As for your apartment situation … I think it will mainly come down to how much you enjoy being in your home. One of my apartments was a lovely place, freshly renovated and not incredibly expensive. It was great. Except I was one block away from the more rundown section of the city and I often feared going out because I couldn’t tell if I was looking at gang members or not. Otherwise I had to deal with the neighbor’s roaches. I say if you feel better at a different place and can work with a bit more expense? Go for it. A sea-view is also a great reset tool. The ocean air and views never fails to help me relax and reset after a lot of stress.

WinterTide

Ah! We need more of her so bad! And I hope your eye feels better soon too!

Caedus Ustrina

Personally, I prefer city placement just so I can be in walking distance of amenities. Definitely look into your issues with your current apartment if you like it! Sometimes you can fix it cheaply yourself or get the land owner to handle it. For example getting felt/rugs to put over metal to help handle heat build up in the summer.

Jordan Valladares

Personally I've never lived in a city except when I was stationed in Norfolk but check to see if you can put a awning or at the least a picnic table umbrella on the balcony to block some of the heat. Not knowing the layout of your apartment, can't think of ways to help with interior issues but there might be how to videos on youtube. Hope you feel better. Also it'd be cool to see a Chet video.

#1_Cody_Glazer

If you are gonna make a long video of her, can we have an extra scene with Yue and Cody? Just like you added Liz and Rou in the Ace animation. That would be sick

Keken

I think everyone would agree that it's better for you to take a short break (or at least significantly reduce your time at work) and relax a bit, taking a stroll through the beautiful Finnish countryside. I think many would agree with me: it's better to take a short break than to run into complications later. Regarding the apartment, perhaps it's better if it's something you enjoy? I'd rather live in a pleasant place. And at home... That's something for the wealthy and for those who have a car. 😅

Keken

By the way, I have a question. I know it's a bit silly, but I've been following your work for a while now, and I realize I prefer the universe of these characters, the way their world is built, and their relationships. In theory, have you ever considered creating content without 18+ content? Where we could enjoy their relationships without all that. Thank you.

Valhymm

I'm pretty sure Eipril makes tons of 18+ friendly content 😜

Stove Pipe

Although the description is vague, and you should let a doctor look at your eye. Your symptoms sounds like Keratitis and could be caused by stress lowering your immune system.

Keken

My bad, corrected

Blu Sky

Well things look like they are going back to normal kinda let's if the apartment situation gets better.

lilveemo1

I may be dumb, but... How can I view all of Eipril_Foss's posts on SteamWallpaper? Also... How do I pronounce "Eipril"? is it just "April" or "Eepril"? I'm sorry, don't beat me, please...

LudicrousEnd6

Please Chet animation one day! <3
