Hi I just joined your account and I'm trying to do the watch along to OUAT but I never done that before. I tried doing picture and picture with the split screen but the videos wont play at the same time .

Hi! Thanks for subscribing. The way I've done it is just leaving the video open in my browser tab and opening up my copy of the video being reacted to in a media player, and playing both at once, with the media player on top. Have you tried something along those lines?

Katherine Dedrick

No I haven’t. I never done that before and I’m not shore how to.

A video in your browser should be able to play at the same time as a media player app. If you're trying to stream the show from a service (particularly if you're trying something with a split screen) you may run into issues depending on the service because they have security protocols in place to keep people from using something in one tab to record something in another tab, probably to keep people from pirating.

I’ve done the split screen and it doesn’t work and I never did it with a media player because I don’t now how .

To watch these reactions, you need to have a copy of what you're reacting to, which you open with a media player. If you use Windows, you should have a Windows Media Player by default, and you just need to open the file and it will automatically play in the player. I've never attempted to sync a streaming service and commentary, and I'm just guessing it's anti-piracy safeguards you're running into.

I only have a iPad and I own the whole series on Apple TV/ iTunes and I never used a media player before.

Unfortunately I'm not sure what to tell you about how to use an Apple product and service. I have no experience with those, but I am pretty sure it must be an anti-piracy measure that's causing you issues. My only suggestion is to maybe google it and see if you can find a solution, or post on an Apple tech site to see what the techy types think about it.
