Meant to get this up yesterday, but I've been having some issues in my personal life that have thrown me for a loop. The main one being my landlord told us only yesterday that they're bug bombing the building tomorrow and we have to vacate for 4 hours, which leaves me in a pickle because I don't own a vehicle and have nowhere to go. I asked my mother for help and was told no, that I could just sit outside for 4 hours. Considering we're in the middle of a heat advisory and it's supposed to be between 95 and 100F, that's pretty much the same as saying, "You and your dog have to die of heatstroke because I can't be bothered." It's especially insidious because even without the heat advisory, I am extremely photosensitive, meaning I'm essentially allergic to sunlight. It not only affects my skin, but can actually kick off an autoimmune episode and cause long-term damage to me. My mother is a nurse, and is fully aware of this.

I will have somewhere to go, though, because I talked to the staff at the office and they said both Pixie and I could stay there during the bug bombing. It won't be fun, but it'll be safe. I'll probably take a few days off from recording this week, just for my mental health. Take care, my dears!
