This might sound terrible, but since you brought it up I honestly love that you tear up often when reacting. It's nice to know that a show you love can also hit someone else emotionally too! Which then likewise gets me feeling more emotional with the rewatch too lol. I always love Jennifer Morrison's acting as Emma, although there are some scenes she especially aces during this arc, this episode's being the "lost girl" speech. Don't have time to watch the other episodes I see you've already posted just now, but I hope you're continuing to enjoy the season!

I understand that; when reactors tear up at the same scenes I do, it's great, and I doubt it's because either of us are sadists :D I think it's more some sort of parasocial trauma bonding almost. "This made you cry, as it made me cry too, therefore I like you even more." Might even be a hint of tribalism, too, as it appeals to the part of us that instinctively feels a kinship with others in a specific group. I think fandoms are a (mostly) harmless biproduct of tribalism instinct.
