The host of the beaver show is Alan Thicke, a famous Canadian actor and singer/songwriter (and father of Robin Thicke) who tragically passed a few years after HIMYM ended in one of the most Canadian ways possible (basically literally broke his heart playing hockey)

When they were doing the joy stick bit the last question Alan Thicke asked before it was cut off was 23 x 3 (do the math). And it's interesting that this is season 6 episode 9. I love the subtle jokes in this show.

Its always seemed too me that, for the most part, the 1-2 episode cameos are all pop singers. (Britney Spears, Nicole Sherzinger, Mandy Moore, Enrique Iglesias, Carrie Underwood, JLo, etc.) Keep an eye out for another good one soon!

As a kid in the 80’s, I looooved Growing Pains that starred Alan Thicke. He and his ex wife (who was also a singer and soap opera star) wrote the theme songs to classic 80’s sitcoms like Diff’rent Strokes and the Facts of Life. He played such a wholesome dad on Growing Pains that it’s kind of funny seeing him be such a creep on here lol.
