As the war in Ukraine continues in its 4th year I was amazed to read that the Russians have stationed troops in the exclusion zone area, stirring up the radioactive dust and soil all over again. The senior leadership truly doesn’t care, or simply doesn’t learn. Most likely both I’m guessing

Great stuff, thanks :) I haven’t got to your outro yet, but... I used to wonder about reactors reading out the text in the past, yea im sure it makes it much easier to edit - and good job taking over, that ending is a 2 man job for tears lol. It is also the spoiler comment i messaged you about to get someone to remove, because it was some of the true story stuff mentioned at the end, which had me in floods of tears (and again today), so i was freaking out because the true story and that dedication to the actual people is my favourite bit of the whole show, which was amazing. And yea, at the very start i mentioned that everything gets explained, no need to google, they take their time coming to it but when they do explain all then you have all the context, very well done. one other thing that i spotted on this rewatch that there was little to no music until the boom, and then the eerie mucic started again once the air is poison...

Andor did very well in the poll and Dune has been mentioned as a movie series reaction closer to when the 3rd one hits cinemas later this year, Stellan Skarsgard is in both :) I would also add Angels and Demons, and finish off with Mamma Mia after all his serious roles 🤣

I think this is the biggest cry I’ve had on the channel and it was brought on by those 3 words 😭 I couldn’t speak. It didn’t look like it, but those were happy tears!

Yeah I was like 90% sure it was mentioned in the final episode! Was a very smart decision to allow us to get invested in Ulana for the sake of telling a visual story, but I'm also so thankful for the explanation at the end to give credit to all of the real scientists that she represents 💚

I'm speechless...for some reason I thought there were 6 episodes so I wasn't prepared for the end. This episode provides a full answer to the the how it happened questions. This may well be one of the most amazing mini-series I've ever seen. Guys your reaction was superb and touching and in its way a tribute to the story. I was going to explain the title but I see you found it.

Probably top 5 best mini-series ever. The acting was insane, they did so well casting people who looked like the real dudes. And considering how difficult the subject matter was, the store was engrossing. Nuclear science isn’t always the most interesting subject. They did a good job making us dumb-dumbs understand it.

Binged this after I noticed it in the list. I recall this vividly, I was in secondary school in the UK, all our science modules suddenly leant very heavily towards the impact of radiation. I remember us taking daily background radiation readings, the spike was significant! Some farms in the uk had severe restrictions on livestock due to contamination, almost 10,000 farms initially impacted. Farms were removed from restriction after the soil /grass was at safe levels. The last farms, in Wales had restrictions lifted in ……… 2012
