Donna opening the door to join in singing Time After Time is one of my top moments of the whole show 😂 she's been so good the last few episodes! I also love her delivery in the previous episode "It's a Trap.... into which you have fallen!" 😂 was she quoting Admiral Ackbar? 😂

The casting director who made Ben Schwartz and Jenny Slate siblings deserved the biggest raise. I thought the actors were actually siblings until I looked it up 😭

could be fun to have to have you react to a foreign film with no subtitles 😂. Having lived in a country where I didn't know the main language, I have had some experience with this. It's possible to formal a mental picture of what's going on but only for simple films.. .with action films probably being the easiest .

okay so my understanding is that maybe Ann asked him to donate, not expecting his involvement otherwise, but being open to it. but the idea is that ideally they would co-parent together. however it is def not made clear in the show, that is just how my brain filled in the blanks. also, the actress who plays mona lisa used to date chris evans for years and was big on SNL… and idk if anyone else would recognize this reference. but she was “marcel, the shell with shoes on” that was one of the first big youtube videos

From what I recall, they never clarify the Ann and Chris "sperm donation" which turns out to be a co-parenting request instead.

Your confusion surrounding the Ann and Chris situation is common amongst some fans of the show. Ann was going to raise this baby alone, she was adamant about that, that's why she was interviewing dudes like "The Douche". Then out of nowhere, when it's Chris, things seem to change and he's now using the term "father of your child" when accepting the proposal from Ann, and she doesn't bat an eye at that. I think the writing was a little fragmented surrounding this one particular situation, unfortunately. There's some extra thoughts I have about it but I will not spoil a thing! But just know that you are not alone in the confusion 😊

Random fun fact: Jenny Slate, who plays Mona Lisa, accidentally dropped an F bomb on live television in her first-ever appearance as a Saturday Night Live cast member. That was one of only 3 times that ever happened in the show’s 50+ years.

Ann literally (Chris pun intended :)) said she asked Chris to donate sperm, in this episode. Word for word. So yes, this was poorly written as to Chris' future involvement.
