I don't think I have seen this since it aired! But man I was left crying at the end once the music kicked in, which I love the song they use (Band of horses - The Funeral). At this point in my life I was also a heavy romantic and was waiting for my Lebenslanger Schicksalsschatz, who happily I met as a blind date about 6 months after this episode. Funny story, we had crossed paths a year earlier like how Ted had numerous close calls as well.

Oh, this episode! The finale of it, the song. The umbrella again, eventually. I hope you'll get to watch Scrubs on the channel eventually. I've seen it in the polls already! It's my personal favorite sitcom, followed by HIMYM. Both have a big special place in my heart

it took a while (as was cable tv back then) but this show does a really good job at making you feel the end of the show is coming and everything you've been waiting for is coming now, almost like Teds story of looking for love, its been a long journey but its about here.

I'm from Germany and the words that Klaus uses don't make any sense. No german person would ever use the term "Lebenslangerschicksalsschatz" (which translates to "life long treasure of destiny") when refering to the love of their life. I have never ever heard a german person say that. Whether in real life or in a tv show. I guess it's just a dig at the german language for having many long and complicated words ^^

No matter how many times I watch this, when Klaus gives his speech and the song funeral by band of horses starts playing i get full body chills and start crying. It happened the first time I watched it and still does today.
