Leslie's reference is comparing herself getting the new job to Courtney Cox getting her first big break by being featured in a Bruce Springsteen video, well before Friends. She was "the girl" from Bruce Springsteen's "Dancing in the Dark" video who gets pulled on stage to dance with him at the end of the video. https://youtu.be/129kuDCQtHs?si=Q6szbaTn9sDXV5gN But then the joke is that Leslie twists the dream, to a normal person it would be that one minute you're just a girl in the crowd and the next you're dancing with Bruce Springsteen. But she makes it, "and the next you're dancing 10 feet away from Max Weinberg" - Bruce's drummer. Max Weinberg later also became known as the leader of Conan O'Brien's late night band leader.

The radio show is a play on "shock jock" Howard Stern who spurned a lot of knock offs and "morning zoos" across the US. It's actually really realistic, they mock it almost too well.

My personality is nowhere near Leslie’s, but the town hall committee discussing the slogan had me also wanting to jump in and fix all of the mistakes 😂 The dino restaurant was Jurassic Fork :)

Liked the slogans you came up with! "First in friendship, fourth in obesity" is still a classic. Though since Eagleton has been absorbed, that rank would be way down now.
