during Parks and Rec Season 6's production they pitched Season 7 as a shortened final season and it was approved by the network. But season 6's finale was concieved as a conclusion in case they didn't approve it. Season 7 definitely feels more like an "epilogue" season to the show where they knew this was the final one and wrote it with that in mind.

Leslie’s reaction to Michelle Obama is so understandable 😂 This season is so incredibly good! I adore it so much and I’m so excited for you guys to jump into the last season 🥹

Ryan Holmes

This entire season was building up to serve as the series finale because the show writers didn't think NBC would renew the show for another season

TLC

A perfect finale! Just in case😂

I'm always looking forward to Damo saying "Finalé" 😂 One thing I've noticed is that Parks and Rec tends to go BIG with its season finales (S3 - Lil Sebastians memorial, S4 - Leslie winning the election). Like everyone mentioned, they weren't sure if they were going to get renewed or cancelled. The fact that you guys said these last 3 episodes were your favourites after being 6 seasons into the show is just a testament to how good this show is. It's pretty rare for a show to actually get better over time and it's been great waching you guys experience it!

Call me Kristen cause I am "Wiiging" out - reference to Kristen Wiig, famous SNL star and actress.

And they're real bands. :) But Bobby Knight Ranger is not... Bobby Knight the famous basketball coach, and Night Ranger.. singing the same song over and over.

The guy she fires at the end is John Hamm! You didn't seem to recognize him, famously from Mad Men (among other things including Bridesmaids with Kristin Wiig!).

Once the series is over, I would be so curious to hear who each of your guys' favorite side characters are in the show! This main cast is of course amazing, but I really think the side characters stand out in this show, and I love highlighting their additions! 😊 By the way, The "Joan" - a tumbler of gin with crushed aspirin sprinkled around the rim... I would love to party with her, except I am also *terrified* to party with her 😅 I am so excited for you to get into the last season!

When Damo said 'people have been asking us to watch Adam Scott ...' I thought for sure it was going to be Party Down. It would be great to see you guys react to the other series where he plays the main character. It's been a while since I mentioned it but it is my duty as the Party Down Guy.

I wanted to clarify something, if the show had been cancelled they wouldn't have done the time jump, they added that once they got approved for the final season.
