Damo sings...always makes for a great intro! Then in the outro Damo tries to watch the next episode.🤣 Am I the only one who teared up when Jin held up the flower at the airport? The Lost flight was Oceanic 815. The announcement was about a different flight and you figured it out. Sawyer gets no love from you guys.🤣 There are so many things I want to say and point out but I can't because of spoilers. You're asking great questions though.

IT’S LOST DAY! WITH BEES!!!Damon singing as I get ready for my commute is peak. Let all the theories begin😁

DN Reacts

I can’t see past the constant racism and selfishness with Sawyer, he may come good but he needs to leave that behind him if I’m going to like him.

TLC

🤣Not saying you should. Just remember everyone you've met so far has flaws. Great reaction!

Linda Cannarsa

I love your vigilance to every detail - you’ll definitely pick up on things much quicker than average, but also go down some crazy rabbit holes that don’t pay off. Very entertaining! Flight 125 to Singapore was just a random airport announcement in the background. I can’t remember if we’ve heard their Sydney to LAX flight # yet so I won’t spoil it. Sun wasn’t standing in another queue, just off to the side to be ready to walk away at 11:15.

QuasiRNG

A potential exercise to add to the start of the reaction would be to guess the backstory of the episode based on the title alone. At least this one gave you a huge hint 😄. And unlike other title related episode guesses, we can more definitively grade you guys 😇

TLC

😂 my fat thumbs

The announcement in the airport for the nonstop flight to Singapore was saying its the final boarding call- different flight. I think Sun and Jin went from South Korea to Sydney and then got the plane to LA which crashed. I do know the crash flight number but I can't remember if it's been mentioned at this point so I'll refrain on that!

Matt108

Yet another addition to Damo’s list of characters who weren’t supposed to be on the flight. Sun planned to leave and start a new life, just on the other side of those doors, but chose to stay with Jin at the last moment.

Ambrosia

Charlie's joke is one of my favorites in the whole show, that delivery "I'd have thought C's" was so good. Loved the singing! I was waiting for the spreadsheet!

DN Reacts

Thanks for the context! That confused us a bit 😂

tiramisujen ≽^•⩊•^≼

I think the confusion came from thinking Sun was standing in another queue- I don't think she was, I think she was just standing near the desk while Jin was in the queue and then when she decided not to go she joined him

Not to excuse Sawyer's nicknames specifically for Sayid, but it's worth trying to think about it in the context of what was happening in the world when LOST first aired. It's filmed and set in 2004, 3 years after 9/11 and 1 year into the Iraq war, the anti Iraqi sentiment in the US would be very high. It was a huge deal to even portray a character like Sayid at the time (and probably still today). Even Hurley had a bit of a reaction when he found out about Sayid being in the republican guard. Again, not defending Sawyer here, just saying that your dislike towards Sawyer could be bigger than the audience in 2004- Maybe that's a good thing! I can't wait for you guys to learn more about both Sawyer and Sayid 💚

Kristin Carter

Sawyer's ever present nicknames range from the flirtatiously cute ("Freckles" for Kate) to the downright mean ("Lardo" for Hurley) to the ridiculously bizarre but also still somewhat problematic ("Captain Falafel" for Sayid). Questions abound .... Will he ever run out of new things to call his fellow survivors? Does he have some form of dementia that prevents him from learning people's real names? Next time, on LOST ...

Kristin Carter

You're not the only one - as soon as Jin holds up that flower, the music changes, and you see the expression on Sun's face and you know she's going to stay, I immediately start crying.

Jordan Wiegand

Charlie's face when he sees his guitar is so great, Dominic Monaghan's acting there getting teary eyed was awesome. Also, I miss the days of shows like Lost having so many episodes. I feel so much more attached to these characters than some shows nowadays that have 8-10 a season, this show really needed the larger episode counts early on to explore this huge cast and give everyone a time to shine. Can't wait for episode 7's reaction!

tiramisujen ≽^•⩊•^≼

You know, this is the first I've ever realised that Captain Falafel is for Sayid and not Hurley! I genuinely just thought Sawyer was using a food nickname for Hurley and thought since Hurley had been asking about whats up with Jack and Kate earlier that he might have been into her too. Never once have I thought Sayid was into Kate at this point in the show lol and I've rewatched it a LOT

Kristin Carter

The funny thing is, as the audience, we don't get the vibe that Kate and Sayid's interactions are flirtatious, but from Sawyer's point of view, he must have been watching them and wondering what they were discussing so intently when talking about the antenna and trying to get a signal to triangulate the French transmission. So he just assumed there was something a little scandalous going on and decided to antagonize Kate to see what she would say.

Kristin Carter

Can you imagine them trying to watch this episode without them 😂😂

zammmerjammer

I think Jack was saying that the bodies have been lying there for at least 50 years, not that the people were 50 years old when they died (I'm pretty sure there's no way to tell age from just looking at a skeleton, beyond the fact they're adults).

tiramisujen ≽^•⩊•^≼

LOST was such a comfort show for me, I’ve had it on in the background a lot but even with that I had to sit down to watch any Sun and Jin episodes! 😂

tiramisujen ≽^•⩊•^≼

Well I’m glad it wasn’t just me who didn’t get that vibe! 😂 i definitely am the type to miss that

Weird Magic

Originally airing on October 27, 2004, "House of the Rising Sun" is Episode 6 of Season 1 of LOST. It is the 6th episode overall and has an IMDB rating of 8.0, placing it as the #21 ranked episode of this season and #6 out of all the episodes shown so far. Yeah, an IMDB rating of 8.0 and it is the 21st ranked of all episodes this season....AND most people don't consider Season 1 the best season.

Weird Magic

Pretty sure it wasn't flirtatious with Sayid - Jack and Sayid were fighting over her going to the caves or staying at the beach, not fighting over dating her.

Weird Magic

Damo doesn't like Bees, but he didn't give an opinion on C's. :)

Kristin Carter

It's not flirtatious between Sayid & Kate, that's what we're saying - Sawyer just loves to antagonize people as always.

Matt108

Happy birthday Walt!

Matt108

I’m really surprised it’s ranked so low. I’ve always liked this one. October 27, 2004. This was the night the Red Sox broke the curse. I remember catching the first few minutes of this episode before switching over to the game. They were down 3 games to none against the Yankees in the league championship, and then they won 8 straight.

When did we get episode 5? I should actually read these emails I suppose.

Ludus Aurea

Dementia no. Assclownery, yes.

Ludus Aurea

This is what I was saying about first impressions.

For Lead Cast they're releasing on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so Tuesday.
