I’m freaking out homie! These reactions are great. I think you guys need a “Welcome! Everything is fine.” background. One of the many things I love about this show is the hidden jokes you notice if you play close attention. Did you notice that Tahani’s diary had a foreword by Malala Yousafzai and Kylie Minogue?

James Bryan

I always tell people to watch until the end of this episode. You'll know if you like the show by then. So far, its undefeated.

Demanda

Same! The setup is good but the show really starts taking off at the end of this episode

I can’t wait for you guys to meet the real Jianyu! He’s sort of the last puzzle piece of the main cast before the show it’s its stride. And Janet is one of my all-time favorite sitcom characters, the actress that plays her is so good!

Olivia McGowan

Janet and Jianyu are my faves!! ❤️

Ambrosia

I feel like Perd Hapley and Janet with her new fun facts and colloquialisms could talk to each other for hours and yet somehow not discuss anything at all. 🤣

Chris

The Portland Trailblazers (circa 90s early 00s) had a bunch of players who had brushes with the law, such that they were given the name the Jailblazers. There are a LOT of sports jokes in this show.

Susen

Ted Danson is famous first from the classic sitcom Cheers - He played Sam and he dated Rebecca. Ted Lasso made a joke about Sam and Rebecca being a favorite couple.. "Sam and Rebecca are already one of my all-time favorite TV couples. To have one of them in real life? (whistles) Yes, please." Making a reference to Cheers (and Ted Danson).

so... I did bite the bullet and give you a bag of money :D this show is just too good and your trying to figure it out will be delightful :D are you planning to watch the whole first season before you start releasing it on YouTube? maybe not a bad idea to see as much as possible (even past season 1, if possible) before you unleash it on the general population, so to say. this is one of those shows where you really want to avoid any spoilers, so...

Maria Stoycheva

of course it did. freaking Tahani and her name dropping :D
