I'm pretty sure it's implied that Jake put it there or at least that he hugged him because he knew Doug was going to steal the pen. Imo this is a perfect end to their relationship, I usually don't really Like when they leave things open at the end of a series, so I really like this. But it definitely was an "over the top" episode:)

The one you don't remember was the one they sang karaoke together and Doug leaves the diamonds there, so Jake doesn't get fired. The big criminal was a huge drug lord. Mabey gigglepig but I'm not sure. And yeah Doug set the cruise up; Jake "won" a free cruise holiday but he didn't even sign up for anything lol

Nevermind, it's not the one with the karaoke but they do catch the gigglepig druglord in that one. It starts of with Doug being dressed as a Santa

Love that my country is mentioned in B99, but that guy was not speaking Dutch and that looks nothing like Amsterdam lol

As a German, I immediately could hear that it wasn't real Dutch or at least with a strong accent. Happens all the time unfortunately. I especially love when there is a "German character" in an American movie and I have to read the subtitles in order to actually understand them lol
