Smashword & D2D (Patreon)

Smashwords was bought by Direct 2 Digital (D2D) over a year back. Today, my Smashwords dashboard is gone, and the migration to D2D is completed. Not happy. I liked the Smashwords system better than the D2D system. Also, D2D banned most of my books when I uploaded to them, so stopped using them years ago. but they say they will abide by SW standards.

I'm also not sure how giving free books will go. I might have to set up an account at Bookfunnel to distribute free books. I think the Smashwords store will remain open, so you'll still be able to buy my books there. And hopefully get the freebies offered to Patreon members.
