Okay, I survived the Texas Winter Blast 2021, and all I got was a busted water pipe. 

1 star!  This weather sucks.

Anyway, BIL is coming over this afternoon to look at the busted pipe. If he can fix it great. If not, I have to wait on a plumber, and since there are like 20 billion broken pipes in Texas, it might take a while.

Weather forecast is for 70 degrees by Wednesday. So... Yeah.

All is well.

I do not miss that about Texas, as once living in Dallas, and Central Texas, I know it does not snow often but it sure as heck gets below freezing every year. Did they think if it was deregulated that the cold would not happen anymore? I cannot believe they were not winterized. Up here where I am at now in Oregon, we lost power, not because pipes busting, but because are gigantic trees fell all over the place, 1070 in all. So they have to get the chainsaws out and start cutting the trees off the lines and the road. Takes time, and we got our power back before my parents in Texas.
