My brain is always chugging along like a fucking machine behind a capture super heroine.

A few minutes ago as I finished up writing on the sequel to my erotic fantasy book, Goblin Glory, i wondered... What if a rift opened in either Justice Girl's / FEM Fighter world, or Ms Patriot's Grimme City world, and goblins and orcs came through. You know they would be criminals. Enemies of super heroines.

So picture a super heroine in the midst of those wicked little butt buggers above.

Does that interest you? Or should fantasy creatures stay in fantasy books, and away from super heroines?

Now, I am also working on a novel, potential series set in a sword & Sorcery world where a female "Zorro" like character fights crime and the local overlords. And there are goblins, and other wicked fantasy creatures there. Maybe they should stay in a fantasy setting like this, and not a modern setting?

This inquiring mind would like to know what you all think.

You have to know something about "Goblin Slayer" to appreciate this concept. (The anime or manga)

Since goblins are fantasy critters, i would suggest the use of a magic inclined heroine that maybe opens this rift by accident and is the first victim.

I've always been a fan of team dynamics, how about a medieval team assembled by some nobility? You could start with this "zorro" style character and they could eventually be sought out by a noble who needs some outside help!

I don't know. It might actually burn you out on certain characters instead of enjoying newer characters in the other genres. However in that direction, I love your novels dealing with perverted existing storytelling worlds. The Wizard of Oz series is hot af. Would not mind seeing other "Dark" retellings, or even villain victorious versions of some well known stories.

I have nothing to do with it (aside from reading), but i like the oz books too.

I think it would be a fun read

Well since Goblin Slayer (manga) came out, with the famous scene of goblin's raping the downed adventurer ladies, the "goblins need human women to breed" idea has been bubbling beneath the surface. You ought to try and read the first part of Goblin Slayer (manga). The idea could work. I think you would need to keep to gritty to balance out the inherent campiness of a rift and goblins spewing out of it. Do it real, with goblin shamans or some sacrificial alter business. Or set up a *new* heroine story line with your JK Waylon pen-name. Have the rift open up at the start of book 1, with a new heroine. Introduce Elves also. would be good.

I think you do need a new series. I think you need to do it with a pretty different vibe compared to your other series which can be campy. You could have the rift imbue powers upon otherwise normal women. Your chance for a completely different superheroine setup.

I, personally would love to see a little more variety with the villains. So I do like the idea.

I am sorry. I have only read the Synn city heroines. So may be I have my blinkers on. I enjoy your stories but just a thought I wanted to share.

Looking forward to the queen of swords series. Love the idea.

Don, well if you start I new universe, start the thing clean I think you can absolutely start with just 1 or 2 heroes. You could do it as a variation on the "System Apocalypse" LitRPG genre. To make it worth while spinning off into a new verse, I think you would need to really try for a different vibe. Don't use the standard costumes you have. Maybe play around with fantasy game inspired costumes. Bring in an "elf" teacher for the first human female heroine. You'd need maybe a different name. There was a fantastic Anime back in ~2007 called Darker than Black. It was basically a Japanese take on the superhero genre. I sounded a little like your "rift" idea. A sort of "rift" thingy opens up in Tokyo, and some norimes get "powers". Since the origins of these powers is from something in the rift (gods? spirits? I forget) the people that got those superpowers/abilities were called "contractors". I thought it was a great gimmick. https://darkerthanblack.fandom.com/wiki/Category:Contractors ---- Darker than black, meets Goblin Slayer. I think you have a winner here. The Goblins have come to earth to breed human females. Elves are their natural adversary throughout the universe. A few come to Earth through their own gates to make contact with human females, and make "contracts" with a select few to help them fight back the horde. Naturally, there are failures, and orgasms and breedstock status await the human females who fail. You could even go the route of having the Elves be the main protagonist. They are the constant from book to book. The humans they make contracts with... they can fall to the horde and become breeding stock. Once that happens, the main elf chick has to find another victim (er I mean contractor) at the start of the next book. Maybe a really good one lasts 2 or 3 books before having to be switched out. Don man. This writes itself.

You guys have given me so many ideas my brain is buzzing. Well played!
