I'm editing the next Synne City book this morning. I just came across a scene, and some banter, that amused me. Thought I'd share a little with you this glorious Hump Day.

From "Raven: Where Angels Dare"

Barbara turned to find one Carina Trivoli standing at the other end of the table in a black leather minidress. The gorgeous brunette’s brown eyes narrowed at Barbara. She wasn’t as well-endowed as an Amazon, but Carina had an angelic face and an amazing body. Indeed, both served her well in a twenty year super modeling career. 

“Are you here to bend knee and submit?” Barbara asked. “If not, I’m busy.”

“The Trivoli…” Carina started, but stopped herself. “My father, Boss Salvatore, would like to speak to you in private. Behind the club, if it pleases you.” Scorn spread across her lovely face. “We promise not to delay your debauchery too much.”

“My God, I wish I had a dick to make her suck,” Barbara said.
