Hello, and thanks for visiting. I am a Ren'Py developer - my first project was a remake of JS Deacon's The Office Wife. You can download it on F95 Zone

My approach was to remain as faithful as possible to the content and gameplay of the original RPGM game, so I have not changed it to into a visual novel or removed the actual "game" part.

I provide image links for the RPGM events and small NPC images to interact with (see below). That way, not just the scenes, but the entire game logic, choices, and events are converted: the game is still a game.

Future work

I have 2 upcoming major releases/revisions in the pipeline.

The first is the updating The Office Wife for the upcoming release. The original game is scheduled to have an update mid-late September, and I think the Ren'Py update will be ready 1-2 weeks after this, so expect an update between the end of September and the middle of October.

The second is a new Ren'Py version of a different RPGM game. The engine I created to run The Office Wife is capable of running any RPGM game, I've tried 3 others and other than the elements I have not converted - quests and battles - they are all playable.

I'm open to suggestions for which game this could be! I'd need to love the content though, as there's quite a bit of work involved in creating the new assets that the Ren'Py UI needs.

I would also like the author's permission. JS Deacon was very gracious in granting his for The Office Wife. One game I am considering remaking is Aedirn's Bawdy Traditions. Unfortunately, Aedirn has dropped off the map. If you have a way of contacting them, let me know!
