I'm really happy with how this little dude turned out! Next steps are to decide on materials, and make a pattern!

What options are you considering for materials? I'm curious because I don't really know much about sewing and befits of different materials, but I would love to learn about them. :)

I'm planning on going to my local hobby shops and seeing what they have. But for fabrics Minky seems like a good choice, I might have to order that though. It's priceyr but high quality. I also need to consider stuffing thread ect Minky also has lots of colour options and id like all the scugs to be the same materials :]

Well since your gonna use minky, maybe the machine is a good pick to get the most out of the materials, I think that's how it works at least :P. But if it's too pricey, even if the fabric isn't minky it would still be good :)

Yeah I think you're right since thicker fabrics are more difficult to hand sew. I'm thinking of doing an art request stream with a dono incentive or something, I can show everyone the slug dummy at the end and do animations for anyone who donates [very simple ones so I don't die lmao]
