Hello!

As mentioned in the latest progress update, A WIP teaser of a CG for a new character in the next update (0.110) that I ended up doing mostly from scratch after scrapping the old CG.

I plan to try have it finished by the upcoming weekend.

I'll also have the same files attached at the bottom of the post.

Some video players might skip the last few frames, I've found the built in browser players (Firefox, Chome... etc... ) most reliable for looping videos. (Dragging the video files over your browser and set it to loop)

Very nice, looks much better than the previous version of this animation. A detail which breaks the immersion are the eyes blinking. Not sure how difficult is to animate in 2D software, since I have experience with 3D only, but adding some randomness goes a long way. Don't have her blink every time she goes down, do it like every 1.33 of bounce or something, maybe stretch the wings a little bit more, etc. But as I'm saying, no idea how hard is it to animate this in 2D software and how much time you want to spend on it. Or if this is just a quick loop and you have better animation ready for the game 🙂

Thanks for the feedback! I could probably have a random chance to switch between different loops in Renpy, not sure I'd be able to have that in for this one in time though, as it's something I've not tried yet but definitely something I'll look into for the next animation. For this one I could extend the loop, having only a few the eyes close and other minor variations but it would still only loop but should help. As for the difficulty, once setup it's not that hard to change or add to the base animation as compared to before, so any animation suggestions/feedback is greatly appreciated and something I should be able to implement.

I have to say i am very, very impressed by that animation. Its funny because i thought the previous one already looked good, but this... its on a whole new level. Keep up the great work.
