Dev update 21st November. (Patreon)
Content
Hey folks,
I have spent the past two days responding to every message / comment, etc. and I think I have covered everyone, but if I missed one, please let me know (send me a direct message).
Sorry for the repetition, but even after posting... Some people keep asking me the same thing. Let me clarify again: The version of the game that I am sending out Patreon links for is the EXACT same as the version on Steam.
At this stage, anyone who has pledged $15 or more (I mean total patronage, not just this month) should have received a link to the game. If not, send me a DM and I'll sort it.
For anyone who qualified for the link and has the game, but also wants a free steam key, please send me a DM. I only have a limited number of these, so won't be able to accommodate everyone at the moment. But I have requested more.
At this stage, anyone who purchased on Steam and requested a patreon refund should have been sorted. If not, send me a DM.
This offer still stands, if anyone else wants to avail.
Anyone who wrote a review and requested a unique out-take image, should have received it. If not...send me a DM.
Similarly, this offer still stands, if anyone else wants to avail.
For the next couple of days, I'll probably be continuing to be responding to folks, doing a bit of PR, promoting the Steam game (outside of Patreon) and tidying up a few things in the latest release. Nothing important, just a swap out of a few images that I wasn't 100% happy with (Most folks may not even notice the changes).
After that, work begins in earnest on Episode 25 next week (no rest for the wicked). We have the art completed for three scenes, so from next week, we'll get the script to start catching up on the art.
And I'll also be looking to expand the team. C3ntur1on is already confirmed as someone who'll join in a part-time capacity (he has a full-time job.) This is great news and he was a massive help in the latter stages of Season 1.
Cell, thankfully will remain as an artist - The stress of the past few months hasn't scared him off (which just means I wasn't pushing him hard enough :) ).
But I will look for another artist and (maybe) another writer to help out. But I have to be very picky and will still be involved in pretty much every image and every line that goes into the game to ensure the style doesn't change or get diluted as the team expands. I think we've done a good job so far where people can't tell the difference between the art I do versus the art Cell does, or notice any change in style between the dialogue additions that Centurion made versus the rest of the game. If we can't find people who match this criteria, then we won't expand the team.
If any of you are budding devs and are interested in trying out for the team, please send me a DM.
Any general comments, questions, please use the comment section below. For any personal requests (images, refunds, didn't get the link, etc.), please send me a DM as it's impossible for me to track otherwise.
Thanks,
CG
