Dev Update 12th December ($1 tier) (Patreon)

(This is the same as the $5+ tier update but with less teasers / 4K images).

Hey folks,

Just a check-in to let you know how things have been going. Starting today, I'll aim for regular weekly updates every Thursday, plus any adhoc updates as items come up. Speaking of which, I'm never sure if I give too little / too much details in my updates OR if there is something else you want to see / hear about, so let me know...

So, full disclosure... I took three days off last week and spent some time with the family, so I didn't get a full week's work in.  This week, I've been back in the saddle and things have been going slow but steady on Episode 25. Things are always a little slow at this phase (as there is a lot of planning / re-planning, etc.), but overall I'm happy with progress. Other than animations, we have the artwork finalized for three FULL / large scenes (Jo solo, Bella solo, and a Jo/Bella scene). Note: The Jo and Bella solo scenes can/will still happen even if you're dating both (so it's possible to play all three scenes), they will just be slightly different depending on the relevant paths. Or it's also possible to get none of these scenes (depending on previous choices). The "solo" scenes will be at the start of the episode and the threesome scene will either be in the middle or near the end of the episode (depending on paths). I don't want to go into too many details as I don't want too many spoilers. :)

At the moment, I haven't fleshed out the writing for ALL of these scenes, so I can't say any of them are finished, as I'm still putting all the branching options together and figuring out how many different iterations of each scene I need, but overall, I'm a lot less confused than I was last week and I've fully made the mental switch from all the Season 1 paths / variables to episode 25 path / variables (took a little while to get there.)

The next scene we're working on is a romantic / date night with Jenna, which will also happen near the start of the episode (again, depending on previous choices...). For this scene, Cell and I were gonna mix things up a little and give Jenna a new hairstyle and new glasses for the date and we came up with this look...

Initially, we liked it, but then we both sorta came to the conclusion that we didn't like, so we backed out and went with our tried and trusted original...

Also... this month's 4K images (provided by Centurion) will have a festive theme, so we'll post some of those to the relevant tiers as the month progresses...

I'm going to keep adding the link to the landing page / FAQ, as I get about ten messages a day asking me questions that are already covered in there. :)

Reminder: No ETA for episode 25 completion yet (or Season 2), but I'll give some estimates next month, once I get a few weeks run at it and can gauge progress.
