No Charge in December! (Patreon)

Folks,

I have decided to pause my Patreon account for December.  This means that none of you should be charged any money at the start of the month.

The reason  is because currently, I cannot commit to releasing Episode 9 in a timely manner.   I would have liked to get it out in Mid -December, but based on current progress, this may not be possible.  And I don't want to let you know in December AFTER you have been charged, so I'm calling it now and turning off payment for December.

Apologies for the delay, November was just a disaster month for me.  I took some planned time off to catch up on some real life stuff and I thought it was sorted, but still a couple of things I need to do.  This month I had exams, I am moving job and had a few other issues.  So it's unfair for me to charge people if I cannot commit to a timely release.

 I will still try my best to get Episode 9 out in December, but will see how it goes.

Thats respectable Cheeks and thanks for always being upfront with us about both the game and RL issues. Have a good holiday if you get busy but we know you are human... you ARE human right ? 😂

Thanks for the info CG. I personally wouldn't mind if you didn't pause your Patreon account. I think it's great that you are giving everyone a heads up about the next update being delayed, but that's a lot of money on the table that you will lose. Most of us understand that shit happens and things don't always work out according to plan. Something unexpected might happen a couple months from now or whenever, but if you keep pausing your patreon every time something happens, that's going to be some serious money that could help pay the bills. Just my opinion. As long as you keep everyone posted about progress I doubt anyone will care too much about some delays every now and then. Even if it's just to take some time off because you are feeling burnt out. Anyways, good luck and stop being so nice!!

Dude, keep the money. Delays happen and in my book when we continually get good content over crap? I'm fine with delays knowing it will be worth it. Also, if you feel guilty about taking December's haul? Look at this way, 'Merry Fucking Christmas' my friend! :-)

Not a big supporter, but as long as there's a chance you will release in December it seems prematurely to pause the pledges.
