Also - Please let me know in the comments below or via DMs, what your thoughts are on episode 23?  Please be as specific as you want (what you liked / disliked;  Stuff that didn't make sense/ stuff that did make sense; Specific scenes that you liked?;  Which character interactions you did/did not enjoy plus any other overall comments?  Also, a lot of work went into the music / sfx and in my opinion this really enhanced the episode but would like to know your thoughts on that too:  Sex sfx / general sfx / did the music suit the scenes?

Your feedback is really important to help us continue to improve on the game each episode.

Great episode! I left a long (sorry) spoiler filled DM of positive reviews. I do have one suggestion. As someone who has 12 playthroughs (1 page per) i would like the stats page to be re-worked to show which path I am currently on with women. The numbers are good but I at times can't remember if I'm on a love or casual romance, an angry or friendly breakup. Or if i am even neutral or friendly.

I liked the episode, but could do without some of the sound effects. Katie laughing was just silly. I was also disappointed with the cosplay event.... although admittedly, I have not tried it with Jenna as the MC's LI.

IDK actually... I guess I was expecting something else. The whole role play thing didn't work for me at all. I didn't see the point of it and it did nothing to move the plot forward.

Great episode, just missed being with my girl, Lily. I was not surprised at all by the Bella reveal, and not surprised that Jo was in cahoots, but I didn't see their relationship coming. I did want to say that the Katy/Jenna joking about the outfit might have went on just a bit too long.

my favorite episode so far loved the comicon stuff. loved the debbie date and the bella jo reveal was amazing. would have liked more lily and maybe a chance to tell people about the other relationships now before it gets to far in. also why is there no gallery in this version of the game?

Elaine is the best. Great Ep with her in it. Also pretty dramatic and interesting story.

VN ranking

I love this episode, mostly the situation with Jolina & Bella, how the inheritance case developed, the twist in plot with Bella's role in it, the great impact our decisions have on the scenes/action. Also the sex got more interesting. I didn't like the comicon, this is something specific for US culture only and I don't get adult people wearing costumes from comics which should be interesting for children only - I only went for Jenna; especially the play was very boring. Regarding music and voices: I don't care about it. I can't wait for the next episode, the talk with Jolina & Bella is going to be very interesting. And I know this is the longest VN game ever written but I hope it never ends. :)

I generally mute the music on these games, but I turned it on for Episode 23. I have to say the score worked quite well for the improv. The episode as a whole was well done and worth the wait, and it was especially interesting to me to learn more about out little blonde minx, Debbie. I was happy to see that there was a payoff for giving Elaine the house, which she explains is all she wanted. But it also makes it easier to eschew your own share since Elaine is giving you her half.

I have a question about the coding. When on Theresa's path if i played form an old save it asks if i was nice to dogboy after or not. But I load straight to episode 23 and choose to be on Theresa's path there isn't a prompt about dogboy. Is this a bug or intended?

@ace well, you asked for our feedback... You don't have to defend anything... I was not complaining. You asked me what I didn't like about it so I told you. I love the game overall... Just did not care for the cosplay and roleplay section.

Overall, I enjoyed the episode. The diatribe between MC, Balla and Joline went longer than I thought was necessary. I was so pissed at the two ladies that, had it been me, I'd have kicked them both to the curb. I saw the deceit between Jo and Bella coming long before the reveal. They BOTH pushed MC too hard in previous episodes for it not to be a set up. The never-ending decries of "love", etc. pretty much put suspicions in place. The Comicon portion was interesting, but a bit long. I'm extremely interested to see how Evie plays out in future episodes. I have 8 renditions of the game so I'm going to play them all to see how my paths play out in 23. I usually turn off the sounds/music, but I did turn both on for the Comicon portion. It did add depth to the event. Elaine putting an end to MC and her "relationship" wasn't expected but makes sense. I am glad MC is allowing her to remain in the house. I have my suspicions that Elaine and MC could wind up roomies once Bella and Joline kick him out of the beach house, or at least try to. It may sound bad but, I hope MC kicks both of their asses! But that's just me wanting MC to "get even". Please, keep up the great work. I'm Anxious to see what you have in store for us with future updates.

I just finished the episode. Great work. You guys are awesome. Also. I was giddy like kid at a candy store to find out about Bella. I had my suspicions about her for a long time. Elaine and Jo threw me for a spin tho. Hahahaha 👍👍👍👍

Very well worth the wait! The intro video was a pleasant surprise (good to see the to see updated "classic" models for the new art. Makes me excited for the redos of earlier chapters!) Good work on the Cheeky logo video too. Music was very effective throughout. Pieces were wisely chosen for comedy, drama, romance, dance ect (very effective at bringing emotion with the Elaine scene and I audibly laughed at the Mexican Standoff theme.) Sound effects were hit and miss for me personally. Ambient sounds were great (especially at Comic Con) but I personally didn't enjoy the laughing/moaning/sex sounds. Anything that gives the characters a voice is a gamble IMO unless you go full voice acting since the voice performance starts to shape how interpret the character. I'd imagine Katie's laugh to be very different ect. That one is totally just a matter of taste. The amount of heavy lifting with all of the code scripting is very impressive. Issue wise I'm getting lots of errors when trying to load saves but this may be from pushing Start Any Episode in weird ways. System also does not seem to save when text is ready to skip through on replays. Story wise this episode had a lot of fun events to experience. Amazing work with the Comic Con (got another chuckle from the Army of Darkness reference) and everything with the Debbie date was a refreshing change of pace. Refraining from actual plot spoilers here but it was a very satisfying pay off for all of the ramp up that still left me intrigued for more. Tl:dr: Music was a very positive game changer, sound effects were hit and miss, still some technical bugs to work out, great story developments/character moments, may very well be the masterpiece episode!

Yay, someone got the army of darkness reference :D. Also you may want to try redownloading. We have been hot fixing a lot of issues that sprang up with the renpy upgrade to go with the music/sounds.

*SPOILERS GALORE* Fantastic episode. The early scenes spending time on the beach were a good time, though it did seem like Joline and Bella were almost too mean with each other. Them forcing you to choose was sad. I just want to build the biggest, happiest harem :P But hey, this is pretty much the first time I've been forced to make a choice, so I can't complain too much. (Joline was my choice, especially since I already felt Bella was being dishonest about Elaine. The irony...) As for Natasha, hearing her get shut down (and having Katie involved) was satisfying to see play out. The best part was Comicon. Besides the sexy MILF Captain Heart you introduced, the play was quite well done. I made sure to have the sound on and it definitely improved the experience. I LOVE BloodRayne (childhood crush for sure), so I'll admit that I'm kind of biased, but the characters and the overall arc of the story were both entertaining and sexy. (Tesla was also a cool addition.) And the ending I got (not sure if there are more), where "Rayne" has to kill you even though she loves you, was pretty well thought out and impactful. Evie and Porsche were great additions as well. I chose to engage with Porsche, and hearing Jenna later say she hoped I would was pretty erotic. I like that both Jenna and Katie seem to be okay with sharing, to some degree, and actually kind of like it. We'll see if they still feel that way when they realize Monica is also part of the equation! When arriving home, Katie is upset at seeing you kissing Jenna. I thought her reaction was somewhat surprising, seeing as how they had basically admitted to each other during the gym scene that they were both seeing you. Katie also didn't seem to show a strong amount of jealousy when dressing for Comicon from my memory. Maybe change this to make it more clear that Katie didn't know how close you were with Jenna, or put a line in saying that Katie didn't understand how she really felt until she actually saw you both together? A very small complaint / comment. Honestly, the episode could have ended there and I would have been satisfied, but you gifted us with even more content. The date with Debbie was hot to say the least. It was great to see 'Captain Heart' again so soon, and steadily planting the idea to have a foursome relationship in Debbie's head is always great stuff. Finally, I really appreciated how the discussion with Elaine was handled. Players, like myself, that already figured Bella was being dishonest were given the choice of being nice to Elaine, and eventually flat out stating that Bella is the problem. It felt good to have my choices available, instead of there being a disconnect between what I the player and the MC are thinking. The Elaine romance is pretty great. I will say that I explored the various versions of the sex scene, but I ultimately went for the romantic, sweet version. I'm not the type to want to rough or even roleplay abuse of women, so it was great to not be forced into that. The revelation that Joline was involved in the plotting with Bella did catch me by surprise. I great twist, as I was both happy that I had figured out and seen through Bella, but surprised by Joline's involvement. Well done, and I can't wait to see how that conversation goes in the next update. My specific thoughts on the sounds for this update are overall positive. I enjoyed the addition of the music. If it hadn't tied into the plot (the play), I would probably have turned it off (I prefer to play my own music). The song selection is overall good. I really like the harder, guitar, rock songs you chose for Katie, Porsche, and some action scenes. Definitely keep those. Some of the other songs were fairly generic, and I had heard them in other projects as well. The sounds like laughter were good, if a little overused at points. The sex sfx were good, but could use improvement. Some of the sounds are just a quick grunt or moan, which adds emphasis, but I also would prefer more extended sounds of actual intercourse for when animations are playing. Again, overall, I felt the addition of these sounds were only beneficial.

Excellent update, very high quality. Continuation of a great game! My only problem has always been with the timescale between episodes, not the quality of the product. SFX - worked well, very good. Music - doesn't do it for me and personal opinion is it's a waste of your effort. However, it did work in the comicon theatre. Gameplay - I was amazed that, having started with a Bella score of -17, and only having allowed her to stay at the beach house because she was drenched, I could not avoid having sex with her. That didn't seem right to me.

Just completed a number of error-free PTs of Ep23. Bravo. Well done. A very entertaining and enjoyable Ep that was definitely worth the wait. Loved the many reveals, the banter between the characters, all the scenes, particularly those with Jo at the beach house and Jen at Comicon, the surprise but welcome return of Porsche, and the intro of new sides, Scarlett and Evie. The renders looked really good, and the music was fine…selections were appropriate and varied, and they certainly enhanced the game. I had no issues with the sfx either, both sex and ambient were welcome additions. Keep up the great work! Can’t wait for Ep24.
