Work is underway on the next Solver story, Round & Round & Round, which is long-billed but had been on and off the schedule, until I finally managed to work it out. I'm writing the first part at the moment but sketches are starting to accrue and I thought you might enjoy a couple of fun ones. This story's a three-parter, with lots of twists and turns (both physical and dramatic).

Three parts named 'Round' , '& Round' and '& Round.' I'm guessing? Love the outfits, they look like they mean business haha

scarygoround

No, it was called that when it only had two parts! Maybe that's why it was stuck. It needed to harness nominative determinism.

Tim Day

Yessssss the roller derby plot thread!

Jenny Reekie

Yay. Hope Claire is going to be a fierce NSO.

Nathan Myers

Nominative determinism, your reliable guide to quality literature!

Sarah Moola

As a former derby girl, words can’t describe how excited I am about this

Luke Drotos

Surprised that this has the Solver name attached given what you’d said recently about that project having run its course for now.

Pierpaolo Di Camillo

No idea about Lottie's athletic skills. But a team with Mildred in it can't lose.

John Whitley

Excellent. The wife played derby on a local league for years, and still coaches. This should be great!

William Cole

I've been hoping against hope this dangling thread would get picked up! Vey excited!

Brian Tatosky

:smacks the copy: John my boy, you've done it again! Roller Derby is *perfect* for these lasses, and I never would have thought about putting them there.

Ross Webster

I think I speak for everyone here when I say "Aw, Hell Yeah!!!"

consider my sneak peek'd!

Lottie and Mildred look great in there outfits! It likely won't happen, but I can't help but think Shauna would be a natural fit for roller derby.

Thickolas

I really thought we'd dodged the roller derby bullet

Douglas Wykstra

Glad to hear you worked out the story for "Round & Round & Round." I guess with love you found a way, just gave it time.

Douglas Wykstra

Well that's the thing with roller derby: you can dodge it once, but then it just comes around again.

Thanks for your confidence in me, Thickolas, I can assure you that this story will only take it to greater heights.
