I've been on a much-needed break this week, mostly away from screens, getting it together in the country. But I've drawn a few comics straight out into my sketchbook, watching TV, just like I might have done as a child. And this one is exactly the sort of comic I would have drawn as a child. I ran into a panelling issue at the end but I gave myself permission to draw some assistive arrows which is... not professional.

Fills the hole in my heart left by MTMTE, it does! Unfortunately it was with concrete, but beggars can't be choosers.

I love the idea of Megatron as a poet (and I have not read Transformers comics since the Marvel ones from the 80's, so I don't know if it's typical for him to rhyme in canon). Also, the best part of this is Wheelie channeling Lottie Grote in the last panel.

You'd enjoy my friend James Roberts' 'More That Meets The Eye', Sean. Great stories and yes, Megatron is a poet in them.

Trithemius!

This is the content that I crave. It doesn't even need more electrons.

Trithemius!

Strong Watford Gap King of Rap energon too.

What kind of vehicle is Wheelie I wonder?

Brian Gleine

Wheelie was my little brother's favorite Transformer (he was ~orange~ and ~inexpensive~) so seeing that little flipped-up windshield visor when I opened Patreon brought back a flood of memories. I need more insanely specific Transformer content. Were the hovercraft or UFO guy also rhymesmiths or were they more into like, prop comedy?

There is another episode of Rhyme Masters in the pipe and maybe we will see what (thinks) Seaspray and (strains) Cosmos are up to, down the line.

I'm not sure what it says about my memory that I never could have remembered their names but I'm pretty sure the one episode of the cartoon Seaspray showed up in he fell in love with a human woman. The original Bee Movie!
