What a fun episode and reaction 😁 Xena is really getting more protective and jealous around Gabrielle, keeping her close and not leaving her behind in some tavern anymore, definitely something is changing there 😅 and Gabrielle keeps getting attracted to tall dark warriors with a dubious past, she needs to figure out what that means ASAP 🤪 love your reactions and commentary!

Oh Hunter, buckle up regarding Xena's romantic history. Girl has been around a few blocks . I will say (or headcannon) that Gabrielle was only interested in Petrocles AFTER hearing that Xena was engaged to him. Baby gay was like 'teach me your ways' ...' how'd you get Xena to say yes' lol

And yeah, the ambrosia is one of their worst props. Ambrosia was the food of the gods, so no wonder the gods are such jerks. I would be too, if all I got to eat was that over-cooked jello stuff that looks like somebody's brains.

I have a dog and TWO cats haha. Conan is our 50lb 3 year old Golden Doodle. I close our door when we’re recording, otherwise I’ll be bombarded with animals. His nails click clack on the floor too which gets annoying. Then of course Odin and Pebs our cats. The poster. I was looking for a cheesecake cute GG poster and this one came up. “Jealous of you.” Yeah, I believe that was what he was implying because he knows that Xena despises him. He meant that she’s jealous that he is putting the moves on Gabrielle. To be fair though, Gabrielle was putting those moves on Petracles back. I doubt she was even in his vision until she started doing that. Him still being secretly in love with Xena and all. If Gabrielle never made herself interested in him, it’s doubtful he would have reciprocated. So if anything, Gabrielle was the one playing the flirting game because warriors with a mystery about them excite her. It’s precisely why she followed Xena. Not to mention Sphaerus from ‘Chariots Of War’. The dark tall mysterious warrior types attract her. That’s her type in a partner. Then there’s the fact Petracles has already seduced Xena into his bed and she wants to know the secret to doing that so yeah, her reaction is very much “Challenge accepted”.
