Well.... Mama done lost control of her kiddos it seems. They grow like weeds don't they.

Jacksonville didn't last long. And since when is it Ash getting the gag of all the head hits lol. They told Lucy this season she was going to earn her paycheck because all that nasty shit they sprayed in her face. EYUCKKKK.

But that final shot? EPIC!

Another great reaction, ladies. But Hunter, you almost broke my heart saying you don't want to see Ash's father again. I enjoy the humor involved in both Ash and his father being such assholes. And I love seeing Ash finally meeting his match in the asshole department, as well as discovering where he got it from. But more important, 12-year-old me had such a crush on that actor, Lee Majors, back in the 1970s when I watched him on re-runs of "The Big Valley" TV series. It only later that I realized I also had a crush on the star of show, the great Hollywood actress of the 1930s and 1940s, Barbara Stanwyck. She was in her 50s then, but hey, Lucy is in her 50s now, right? Lee Majors also starred in the series "The Six Million Dollar Man" in the 1970s, where he played an injured astronaut who was restored through all sorts of "bionic" implants and replacements, giving him superpowers. There's a bit in this episode where Ash and his dad go back and forth about Ash's artificial hand being "Better," "Stronger," "Faster," that comes right out of the voice-over in the opening credits of that show: "Gentlemen, we can rebuild him. Better than he was before. Better... stronger... faster." Anyone my age would know that one immediately. In the 1980s, Lee Majors starred in "The Fall Guy," as a Hollywood stunt man. He was married to actress Farrah Fawcett for about 10 years and they were quite the Hollywood A-list couple. I love the addition of both Lee Majors and Michelle Hurd to the cast this season!

And OMG, yes. Lucy is such a trooper to have that disgusting stuff slopped all over her. But she had something I consider even worse in at least one Xena episode, so I guess she was prepared.
