This map is awesome! I love the details you've put into Hell. The additional flavour and backstory is awesome and what brought me back to this story.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Hell a desert overall or to be more specific supposedly there isn't any water in hell is what I'm trying to get at so having said that how come lakes/seas ?

To elaborate: within the setting of DMAW, Hell and the Underworld are two separate places. The Underworld is a parallel dimension of Earth that is ruled and split by the Fallen Lords and the Satans. The more powerful Cadre and Demon Lords are capable of terraforming and warping the localized relaities of their individual territories, creating their own little pocket dimensions on the surface of the Underworld. Hell is a completely separate reality that is adjacent to all other realities and universes. It is where all damned souls, regardless of race or origin universe, go when they die. Hell does not follow the laws of time and space. There is only one absolute reality in Hell, and that is pain. All else is fiction.

When you say terraforming and or warping are you implying the ability to change the face of the land of that specific plane of existence to match their own wants and needs or are you implying that the underworld itself is a firmament of existence that runs parallel to the living world and out of that particular metaphysical fabric they can then shape their own specific realities? And also just to be clear the Abrahamic factions are relatively speaking quite young, they came along quite late in the timeline of all previous cosmologies on the face of the earth, assuming that this specific "Underworld" existed before them who was there before and who did they steal it from ? or was this supposed to be Purgatory ( although now I think about it, that one would fit better with the Fields of Perdition ) or did they create it themselves ?

The Underworld is a parallel Earth that exists alongside the planet but is at the same time independent from it. In the case of Infernity, from the Underworld's perspective, it is about the size of the human country of Germany. The previous Sin of Wrath used magic to manipulate the space-time of the realm and make it span the length of continents. From the outside perspective, Infernity remains the size of Germany, the moment you step through its magical barriers, it's spans over ten thousand miles. Not to mention, like other mystical realms, Infernity is intrinsically tied to its sovereign, being an extension of Ichigo's will and essence. He can change it at a thought, and, to an extent, Infernity is a piece of him.

In regards to the Three Great Powers being 'younger', as Ddraig explains in Chapter 31, deities and divines aren't bound by linear causality. This includes their own realms which are universally called "Heavens." The Heavenly Father has always existed, it's just that he chose to exert his influence later in humanity's development compared to some other immortals. And yes, the Underworld existed long before Lucifer and Azazel first colonized the plane(t). Some of its native denizens still exist, most were wiped out or warped and mutated by the Original Demons for thier own twisted reasons.
