Drawing pages is taking me a lot of time at the moment -_- I think my focus isn't too great due to various stresses on my mind. I used to be able to get my daily page done by 1pm if I wasn't going anywhere that day... I hope I can get back to that soon 🙏

I love how Charlie has teacher support as well as his friends and fellow students. Teachers see way more than we think sometimes, and this is so reaffirming to have Mr Farouk in his corner, encouraging him to share his honest and open ideas❤️I also appreciate how, being Charlie and all, he doesn’t answer the Head Teacher with any false pretenses. He is leading with his heart, and the best thing about that is that he is no longer hiding it! Could he lose, sure…but the risk is worth it. I don’t know if he would have risked that 1-2 years ago🥹 And Alice, all of these last pages have been like multiple pages in one with all the detailed panels! We love them, but I can only imagine how much focus and time they take, even without any added stressors. Thank you-xx ( and yes, Nick, a snuggled up nap sounds absolutely amazing about now for Charlie. Recharge time for Charlie🥰)

Alice I can only speak for myself here but I suspect I’m not the only one… I didn’t subscribe to your Patreon so I could demand pages from you every day. I subscribed because I appreciate your work and I wanted you to have a little cushion of income that would allow you the freedom to create without as much pressure from entities trying to make a profit. Does that make sense? If you need some time to breathe, if you don’t get the pages out by a certain time everyday, it’s all fine. I want a happy healthy person making great art. That’s what I’m trying to contribute towards :)

I know it can be frustrating, wanting to have it done fast to have time to do other stuff during the day, but please dont focus too much on the "having a page out at 1pm". Even beside the fact that yes being stressed about something can influence your focus, your style evolving and your skills going up is also going to have an impact and surprisingly, this doesnt always mean we start drawing faster. And focusing too much on having the page done by a certain hour of the day will just frustrate you and stress you more. Just do your best of today. Not the best of 2023, or your record of how fast you can do a page. I like that Mr Farouk didnt just nominate him and that's it but helps him with his speech ToT And yeah, too much out of your confort zone is tiring

Dear Alice, I can only imagine that A LOT has changed for you in the last few years. And that a lot of external stress has been added. As you can read in the comments everyone here is patient and loving with you.🤗 But I don't know if Netflix and publishers are like that? Probably not... Try to free yourself from this. It is your story. You have brought to life these wonderful characters that now inspire and empower so many people. And if volume 6 lasts another 2 years, we are all the more pleased that the end is still a long way off. And if there is a 4th season of the show, all fans will be watching seasons 1-3 on repeat until it's ready.😊 With many great series, there are sometimes 2 years between seasons. And Heartstopper will be the most worth waiting for!💛❤💙 I don't know if this is any helpful at all...but please take care of yourself!!

I love that you have developed Charlie's character to be a little more verbal with how he is feeling and as always Nick with the support and caring. Although I do own Nick and Charlie's book... Not all authors share their work before the final product. I truly appreciate each page. I also really love the comments and to be able to see what each page means to so many people.
