Is it just me or does anyone else feel like Alice is giving us mini BOOKS on every page? I was scrolling back and every.single.page! contains so many detailed panels, and all of them are chock full of evolving emotions. I feel like Nick clinging to my Heartstopper horse (aka Patreon app) while affectionately staring at the beauty that is becoming Volume 6. Even Nick himself cannot not fully understand the feelings that Charlie stirs inside of him, and although he constantly shows and expresses his love to Charlie, their love also feels WAY deeper than that. And now, tipsy Nick is delving into that "this is almost more than I can take, for fuck's sake" deep well of mushy and pure love he carries for Charlie Spring. (and Elle is cracking me up with her side eye, like OMG, Nick, WE KNOW already!😂) I also love the choice to give us (and more importantly NICK) the side profile of a glowing Charlie with his hoop earring, his dimple in view, his curly hair looking spectacular as usual, our new friend the parrot resting on his shoulder, wearing a perfect pirate shirt (reminiscent of OFMD), surrounded by admiring classmates.
