Poor Nick. He has a lot he needs to figure out for himself. He's always trying to be there for Charlie but he bottles up so many emotions. I think when he was a kid he probably tried to be what his mom needed after they divorced. Then he tried to be what his team needed in a coach and now he's doing the same for Charlie. I think therapy would help him but he really needs to go to Leeds and learn about who he is. He only seems to identify himself based on how others see him so college would be a good thing for him. Maybe he and Charlie take a break from each other but still visit on long weekends or holidays and just let him learn more about himself and then after the year is over they can see if they still are in love or if it's time for both of them to move on. I'd like to hope they'll make it based on that one future comic Alice did a few years back. He's a good guy and just needs to talk to Charlie to start and go from there.

I am feeling bad for Nick. It is like he was worried about leaving Charlie behind, but he is who is behind Charlie. Behind, in general. Immature, not knowing how to deal with feelings, not being even able to express that, drinking, not finding his place anywhere, acting like a child. Poor kid.
