This is the essence of Heartstopper....that we know love when we see it. And we are able to tell the difference between love, friendship and abusive or unhealthy relationships. My heart breaks for Sarah 💔😔 She is 💯 behind her son, supporting him so that he can build a healthy relationship with his partner. But unfortunately, her own love story ended up with Nick's dad 🙄 which must have been challenging. Not everyone gets the love story Nicka and Charlie have found, which makes it t really wholesome and precious, but also very uplifting to watch. ❤️

Nick is very lucky, because he has managed to find something good and pure from the off, whereas Sarah was put through the ringer by Stephane. Nick has found someone supportive and loving for their first relationship and managed to avoid the absolute crap that can be thrown at you in a relationship, or even in the infatuation stage. I mean, Charlie was put through hell by Ben, and while Nick saw the fallout from that and how it impacted Charlie, he hasn't had to go through it himself thankfully. Yes, what Nick and Charlie have in very precious, and Sarah isn't going to let Nick fumble it, not when she knows how rare it is.

There is hardship and heartache, struggles with mental health and constantly figuring out how to go through life when it feels like the people around you other than those in your inner circle are against you. The love that Nick and Charlie have is so real, and kind, and beautiful. They build a close and strong friendship in a short amount of time, and when they kissed, everything just clicked for them. I wish I could put into more better words right now, but this is true, genuine and unconditional love. I love them both so much ❤️
