The happiest of feels today, Alice, the happiest of feels...Here they are, so connected, so dreamily content...and peacefully sleeping, in their favorite place called TOGETHER. What a way to show how their love encapsulates both the ethereal and the simple...I love the big billowing blankets of their pillow fort (with the patterns of stars and glowing white dots) that create the softest (closing) curtain frame around Nick and Charlie...and the larger than life striped blanket that they are sharing adds this majestic flair to the page, reminding us of the beautiful importance of all that has happened inside this little cocoon of space. We also get a halo effect around our sleepy boys, and I love how they both have the calmest "everything feels right now" looks on their faces. There is something so precious in the way their hands are all wrapped together...with Charlie resting his temple on Nick's hand while keeping constant touch with his own pinky on Nick's arm (kind of a static version of their beloved finger taps)...and while there is no doubt these soulmates have an invisible thread connecting them to one another, nothing beats the LITERAL connecting of a simple, steadying touch, even while sleeping, especially while getting the chance to sleep...uninterrupted, together...and their hair agrees! I mean, look closely, like really zoom in, and see the little touch points of their hair. It just can't help itself! I also can't help but see this image of Nick and Charlie across time, like this heals the younger versions of them and leaves space for the fondest memories for future them... Little Nicky: "Charlie IS the best friend I've ever had...(you know, the one I've always longed for?!" Little Charlie: " I DO deserve the (amazing!) love Nick and I have for each other..." Present Nick and present Charlie: ZZZZZing happily together Uni Nick and Charlie: late night texting, "do you remember that pillow fort you built on that snowy day??? What I wouldn't give to be back there now...the last part of it especially. I love you, you know, I love you SO much!" Married Nick and Charlie, building a pillow fort for their kids, "Have you or Dad ever made a pillow fort before?" and Nick and Charlie's eyes meet over the peak of the fort, and they smile, knowingly, lovingly remembering... Elder Nick and Charlie, still looking after one another, all those years later, are showing their Memories Photo Album to their grandkids, and come across a photo of a pillow fort and fairy lights...and both of them feel their hearts quicken and their cheeks blush...together. I am so thankful for every page of Heartstopper...there is so much hope and joy and love and messiness and healthy communication and healing and beauty to be found in the good and in the hard...

I am so thankful for Heartstopper as well but also for you, RCM. Your interpretations of Alice’s amazing drawings and text add so much to my understanding and express thoughts and emotions I can’t begin to convey. Once again and always, thank you❤️

Y’all - we walked into the Green Dragon on Friday (page 1715, January 3); the boys are sleeping on Sunday (page 1835, June 17). What a weekend!

I hate that I am thinking about the "wohoo" cutscene in sims 2. But thats a reflection on me and not this lovely panel
