Some backstory! I know there's been lots of discussion and debate about Jane as a character, so I just want to remind everyone that it's okay to have different opinions about this. She's (hopefully!) a complex character, and she's affected by past experiences while also making plenty of mistakes and poor choices in the present. It's interesting to read everyone's differing opinions and feelings, I hope it's been an interesting scene for you!
