Week 2!! Time is flying doing just normal day-to-day living while in love. Nick is such a planner…from their first date to his uni trip, he thinks things through. Charlie is more spontaneous in his modus operandi (thinking about all of his “well, we could…” suggestions). I love how these little pieces of their personalities is captured in panel 2 as they decide what to do with their half hour…it’s a nice depiction of them being individuals in a committed relationship. And Charlie’s determined and calm face in panel 3 tells me Jane has nothing to worry about…Charlie is handling all of the stress and pressure of exams along with the excitement and joy of deepening his relationship with Nick just fine. He has come so far and I am so proud of him❤️

I was googling other things recently and saw that “vertical form” is used by schools to combat bullying. Which made me wonder if Charlie’s terrible experience was the prompt for the school to introduce it and thereby unintentionally start the entire N&C journey. 🙂

I’m so happy to see Nick being the one looking to take their relationship further. He’s found himself. Plus he has respectful concern for Charlie’s feelings about movie forward… no pressure. He’s a caring partner who’s concerned about Charlie. ❤️💙💛
