Excellent detail work on the downspouts at the school of art, Alice! For some reason, it's something I always notice about those old buildings. 🥰

I keep coming back looking at their expressions on the last panel. Tara seems to be digesting what her life will look like if she pursues law (insanely busy), Elle is taking it all in stride (snacks?!), but Nick…I worry that Nick’s perfectionist tendencies(not the standard perfectionist but the type that makes you think of everyone else first and how they could feel and are you being a good boyfriend/son and how he so wants to always do the kind and right and best thing tendency) are going to make him temporarily shut down. Rather than being able to vocalize, “I don’t see myself at Oxford (and I want more than Kent),” I worry that he is irrationally thinking that he is isn’t good enough for Oxford, therefore he isn’t good enough for anywhere. I really want him to see this is just a data gathering trip, so it’s okay to not love it all. But through his expression you can see the pressure he is piling on himself…

A random thought... Nick and Sarah have such a close relationship and she has been so open and loving with Char from the start...I'll bet that while Nick is away at uni that first year (while she learns to be an empty nester and Char makes his way thru his last year) that he sometimes stops by for a cuppa with Sarah (and Nellie and Henry of course!) and chills out in the uncomplicated Nelson nest 😭 passively supporting each other while they both miss him desperately
