i actually don’t think so, they’ve seen each other shirtless dozens of times in the locker room before/after rugby, but if you’re talking about in this context then yep!! :D

People have commented here before about how Nick is can be more confident to say stuff via text than in real life (cucumber comment for starters, admitting to being nervous about sex). I wonder if we're seeing parallels with Charlie. It being via video means a lot of the stigma of him being shirtless for the first time in front of Nick is also taken away. Even if he did not even realise he was shirtless when he took the call, even that is progress. It's happened kinda naturally without thinking and it wasn't a big deal. And maybe at a more symbolic level this is all a foretelling of their future when they're relationship is remote and they are routinely videoing and texting each other every day and are both way more confident in general.
