Bi and pan people don't turn straight when they are in a relationship like theirs. Just like Nick and Charlie's relationship isn't gay just cause they're two boys

Lili

Yeah and the definition of a heterosexual/romantic relationship is when two ppl from different genders date, which is the case with tori and Michael.. saying that they’re in a straight relationship doesn’t erase michaels queerness or toris asexuality :)

I think some fans think Charlie should just automatically know about Michael and Tori’s relationship but he’s in the process of learning about certain things too. He’s not always going to get it right. No one does. I don’t think he’s assuming anything. He’s just trying to get her to open up. Same way the girls are getting Nick to open up

oof i feel for tori here, it’s tough trying to figure out your aroace identity and having your queer sibling call you straight. I’ve been there.

I hate that so many people are trying to define Tori and Michael's relationship before even hearing Tori out. Regardless of her asexuality and Michael's pansexuality, they're allowed to define their relationship how they see fit. Straight relationship, queer relationship, queerplatonic relationship, no label at all...all of these are okay.

The irony in Charlie calling it a straight relationship and commenters saying, "No, it's a ___ relationship!" is funny...

I’ve read every osemanverse book and don’t know why I had no idea tori was ace 💜 this is so exciting for us!!!!

I love this! I love how this shows even people within the queer community just don’t know everything about queer relationships and even make what may come across as harmless assumptions. Everyone still has some learning to do.

it's not stated in any media, she hasn't figured it out yet! but that might change in the next panel 👀

For a lot of people, that does actually feel like erasure though. If someone isn’t comfortable being told that, you should respect it. Straight-passing is different from telling two queer people they’re in a straight relationship.

I love that Tori holds Charlie’s hand ❤️

I don’t know A LOT about asexuality but reading “Loveless” definitely helped me learn and understand more. The Netflix show Heartbreak High also helped me to understand too with the queer ace character Ca$h.
