It's kind of the go to ride in fetes like that to have conversations isolated from people. Ferris Wheels are used a lot in medias for that

It may seem like a weird sort of question for Tori to ask, about wether Nick and Charlie have had sex. But I think she wanted to bring it up so Charlie could be apart of this conversation as well. Like, her coming out as Ace and wanting to explain why she knows she's Ace (in her situation) is going to involve talking about sex. I feel that she wanted to have this conversation and to make it so he felt apart of it to. Cause if Tori hadn't asked that and just said she had sex with Michael and that had confirmed she was Ace. If Charlie had some questions or wanted to bring up a parallel, he might not feel comfortable to do so cause it can feel weird to talk about that, especially with your sibling. I think what Tori has said (what you have wrote her to say) is a simple but near perfect way of going "You've had sex, I've had sex, and I don't want you to feel awkward about talking to me about it".

Aah the "he was fine. It was fine." - feeling that so strongly as an ace who isn't repulsed by sex and spent so long just wondering if I was doing it wrong/not attracted to my partner/everyone else was just exaggerating how much they enjoyed it

I'm ace too but I always considered it separate from my sexuality. Like I think you can be hetero and ace. Regardless, ace friends are always welcome in the LGBTQIA to me!

It definitely IS separate from sexuality but that doesn’t make Ace people any less LGBTQIA, That’s what the A is for!

this has quickly become one of my favorite pages of this book. genuinely the art and the scene of everything goes so well with the convo charlie and tori are having, and shows how beautiful coming out can be. the last slide shows how big the world is, too, giving a sense of perspective (to me, at least)

i’m aro ace and this scene is now my favorite scene out of this whole comic. alice’s books helped me come to terms with my sexuality and actually seeing it in media now is crazy. i’m so happy. 🖤🤍💜
