Okay, so the word "best" doesn't mean much in this line of work, but this is certainly our favorite of all the movies we've ever done.

Comments

Zach Van Stanley

I’ve seen it three or four times, and I love it so much

Jen Lytle

I revisit this one often because I fucking love this movie!

Luke Rezin

God, this movie... It's like a crayon drawing by a toddler. You just want to hang it on your fridge and admire it, even though it's mostly incoherent scribbles and he got some poop on it.

HidariMak

Dive bombing birds which explode on impact, acting which makes porn look Shakespeareing by comparison, and worse interactions between the humans and the (16 bit) computer graphics than your typical low budget edutainment TV programming. What's not to like?

Markus D

If it gives you any hope Eli, while the producers, actors, etc. were self-aware about the second movie, James Nguyen was still SERIOUSLY TRYING TO MAKE A GOOD MOVIE, and it has completely incidental zombie cavemen and a jellyfish graphic that is arguably worse than the birds.

April Poff

I cannot believe y’all said a bird slit a guy’s throat like Steven Seagal” without making a Steven Sea-gull reference. 😂

TwoTribblesAndAGrudge

All the money I've ever given on Patreon was worth it just for this movie review alone. You guys are fantastic.

Aya Sakurai

It's always a joy to listen to you guys reveling in the badness of a truly bad movie... :) But hey, you missed an opportunity to make one more reference to Yoko Ono with "Give Peace A Chance"

Nolan Ryan

Dear sweet Cthulhu....35 seconds in and already the review can't do this justice. Did the waitress really just teleport to the door and tell him to sit after a half second audio skip...? Yes.

Rachel Harbin

This was great! Was super happy to see you watched this one. If you guys haven't yet, I'd strongly recommend you expose yourself to the films of Neil Breen. Fateful Findings is my favorite. He is completely serious with his films like this guy and they are fantastically good-bad. I love them.

jessah with the demon tits

FF is his best known and least shitty, but 'I Am Here...Now' has Breen as techno zombie Jesus.

Kevin Stein

Drink every time Eli says "it's so good"

Darby Mori

I'm late to GAM. I just looked up Birdemic on IMDB and found that 2 more were made! Birdemic 2 in 2013 and Birdemic 3 in 2022. I have no words.

WelcomeToFalse

The main character walks like it’s his first attempt, after learning how to walk from a mistranslated description of a sarcastic YouTube video on walking. Amazing.

Danial Gibson

This review was extra enjoyable for me because I subscribe to a streaming service where Whitney Moore plays a tabletop game on a weekly basis and had a show where she hosted as a punk version of herself in a post apocalyptic world. Even better is that I remembered she appeared on How Did This Get Made's episode for this movie with Weird Al. Sadly the episode is archived, but I do recall that she said it was a strange experience and that the hangers were from the motel. Finally she was just announced as part of the cast for a movie called Satanic Panic with Rebecca Romijn about a pizza delivery girl fighting a satanic cult. I swore all of this is real.

The Greater Goop

Pretty sure I already drink every time anyone says “it’s so good.”

Pamela J Schladensky

Thank you! Now I know how to pronounce Nguyen!! How long have I stared at that word and wondered!

Cam(istry)

Holy shit I feel like I broke a rib from laughing so hard. Definitely going to check out the movie 🍿 🤣

Lief Theorine

Oh my gosh, yes. It honestly might be too good. Like the whole time I watched as a teen I thought, "This is incredibly stupid but I do love the thing the tire does." it's great
