I can’t believe it. I bought the platinum package. The whole enchilada. I haven’t even asked for the time off work yet but I did it anyway because I thought those tickets might sell out. I’m scared to death because I’ve been a hermit for several decades now and haven’t gone on a road trip since Bill Clinton was president. But it’s done now and there’s no turning back. Is this how it feels to look forward to something?

Im going to do everything in my power to be there. Ive wanted this more than anything. These guys have been my rock through my recovery in addiction and having to deal with all the god bs in aa. Listening to them has reaffirmed why i work for the recovery program i am with. I really hope to be able to see them in person to tell them my story and what they have done for me.

Hey. I think I can make this. I really super want to meet everyone. I have for a long time. Does the taping have like an all day type event element to it? I'm thinking of flying up early, meeting folks, doing the taping, then going to the bar and drinking with whoever's there, then flying back out at 3 or 4 in the morning, without getting a hotel. Does that sound doable? It's only about a 2 hour flight from Atlanta. I probably can't afford the platinum package, but I hope to at least meet the crew and shake their hands and everything. I don't want to lick Eli's face, for his wellbeing and mine. He doesn't know where this tongue has been.
