Hey folks,

We’re doing a live Q&A tonight after our live show (2/15 at 8pm PST) in LA. To save us from having to juggle microphones, please send us your questions to godawfulmovies@gmail.com with the subject line LA Q&A. 

Also, let us know if you’ll be at the the show! 

Send them in ASAP, the earlier we can get them, the better chance they have of being read on the air. 

Note: Also include your first name (or handle) if we can say it on the air and preferred pronoun if applicable.

Note: I emailed my question, but I'm gonna post it here as well - figure the community may have some input as well. Note: I will not be at the live show, I live in the Democratic People's Republic of Minnesota. Alt-Righters thought that was an insult - fuck you I'm owning it. There's been a recent rise in what amounts to purity tests going on in Leftist spaces. As in, if someone does anything even remotely problematic, the next step is to cancel (de-platform, shun, and deride to others). I've never found this to be... beneficial. I get it, it's a known tactic of the Alt-Right to infiltrate and take over communities, but this feels more like cannibalism and destruction of our own, rather than any attempt at understanding. How do I start to push back against this? How do I help get people to stop jumping to what amounts to a 'nuclear option', and instead back to talking through this stuff? I believe community starts with me, and I'm responsible even if I don't share these views. I mean, I'm pretty far to the Left, recognize, and admit that; but I would rather work with, and understand the variety of viewpoints we have over here. What's your opinion on cancel culture, and the purity tests some on the Left use? How can we bring people back to the table, rather than simply continuing to oust some of our loudest and most influential voices? How can we slow or stop others from doing the same?
