*TRIGGER WARNING* UNGRATEFUL-SOUNDING, BITCHY RANT AHEAD.. I stayed up til 2:30 AM waiting on this one.. (also a fan of CD, Tom & Cecil) was looking forward to this.. fell asleep, waiting.. I already, politely, inquired about your "early" access model, 3 or 4 AM.. day of regular release.. ("early" on a fucking technicality, I suppose, it still counts in sports.. right Noah?) but you haven't offered any explanation..so again.. I ask.. Why the fuck can't you guys schedule this to come out, a whole fucking DAY, in advance? WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK?! I hate to complain, as I am a Canadian.. but I am frustrated with this loose, illogical contract, we have. "EARLY", under the paradigm of "pay for privilege Podcastery", is NOT (supposed to be) a paltry, few, fucking hours.. I reduced my support.. but like a long-term, abusive relationship, or Broke Back Mountain scenario.. I cant QUIT you..how hard can it be to move the release time? Even a few hours earlier would put it out on MONDAY... or move the regular release to WEDNESDAY.. if you're over extended, because of other projects, (is Skepticrat EVER coming back?) or unforeseen shit (Heath's Dad.. Eli in hiding) why even state "EARLY ACCESS"? why not just extra content. it would make more sense..I appreciate the little bit of unabridged extras.. I'll STILL pay for your show.. but seriously.. what is the problem? is THAT the problem? Aaron Norell, *I'm only trying to explain my thoughts while reading your post, not necessarily respond directly to your complaint* I think the main draw of being a patron is the extra content. The little bit longer episodes, the Eli shitting his pants high on Coke stories, etc. The way I understand it, when they say it comes out "early" they simply mean "as soon as we're done editing" (this was evident in the episode with Brice Blankenagle where there were a few mistakes that Noah went back and fixed). Making other people wait an extra day just so that patrons can get the episode at least 24hrs early seems shitty to me. I imagine that's why Noah hasn't replied (but I can't speak for him). I wouldn't want them to not release an episode for 24 hrs just so that I (a patron) had it longer than some person who can't pay. Think of "early" as simply "as soon as it's done and before the 'scheduled' release" and you'll be happier. Haha. Additionally the lack of the Skepticrat has been covered on the show. It was caused (if my memory serves me right) mainly Heath's father's stroke. As someone one semester away from my masters degree in political science, I miss the Skepticrat too. Their debate coverage has been some of my favorite political commentary this election cycle. The debate recaps have literally been two of my favorite podcasts of all times as they covered something in which I am very interested. Don't worry, I already wrote a very strongly worded letter to Heath's father explaining how disappointed I am in him for having a stroke during the election cycle. Just enjoy the show and remember that at the end of the day, it's just entertainment, and it's just a few bucks to help produce the show and make it worth it for the content producer. I've been one of the first people to comment on quite a few of their productions, often waiting up thinking, "if I stay up an extra hour I'll probably get to listen to the episode tonight". But it's not worth getting mad over if it takes a little extra time to edit or maybe one of the interviews got scheduled late. Overall, I can see you're passionate about the show. I am too. Cool your jets dawg. (Edit for speeling and gramaar)

Fantastic! After listening to this episode, I thought I might look at the movie on Netflix, just to have a visual to go with the laughs - when I tried to play it my Apple TV crashed, saving me all that pain. It's a miracle!

I wanted so badly to listen to this because I knew this movie would be awful but I can't stand Tom and Cecil. They're the worst ADHD, can't stay on topic, let's make the same dumb jokes over and over and laugh like idiots podcasters I've ever listened to. I tried their podcast after they were guests on the thinking atheist and quickly hated them.
