This week, we brave theaters full of anti-vax, anti-mask, pro-Trump zealots to bring you the latest installment of the "somehow always worse" God's Not Dead series.

"John Singer was pretty much shot for home schooling his kids."

Robert Farrell

Scary story, but at least there's a happy ending.

Robert Farrell

Just imagine being too racist for 1979 Utah.

Mark H

Oh good lord! I sort of feel terrible for enabling this!

Amanda Horne

Thank goodness for this episode! I just finished the whole back catalog this week and had to start listening to *whispers* repeats. Question for other fans out there: what are some of your all time favorite episodes that you'd go back and listen to first?

Liam Greenwald

Gramps Goes to College and Overcomer, but the latter was my first episode, so maybe I'm biased

You really need to change your tagline to “we watched it so you don’t have to” It sounds familiar, so it might be another podcast is using something similar, but just have those people as guest hosts one time and it will be fine (NaL)

Come What May The Best Two Years Bibleman Episode 4 The Cokeville Miracle

Hearts are Trump (I might be misremembering but I have a feeling its by the same old coot that made Gramps goes to College which is a solid listen too!).

Proud mom of fur babies

Heavens gate and hells flames for me, cause it not only has cara, but she helped answer the question of what did my church make me watch as a child. It traumatized me and I never could remember what it was, listening to that episode helped me so much.

Amanda Horne

Cara is a national treasure, and not enough people know that.

Kurt Montandon

Not nearly enough to watch it, is my guess.

Peter Anthony Anderson

It's not surprising to me that the writers didn't use the title of "Doctor" for the scientist from NASA (who likely has a Ph. D.) This was one of the least realistic parts of the movie. One of the physics professors at my undergrad would always correct someone if they called her "Mrs." which happened all the time. You call them doctor. They earned that shit.

Matt Eldritch

Has the September bonus episode been out yet?

Ian from wine country

This... this was what I've been waiting for. I listened to it while driving around the rim of Oahu. Such a good day.

keegan

Yall sound happy and well rested, hope yall had a wonderful time :)

The atheist social worker skit got me. The question asking if the parent would kill their kid. I asked my bio father that about my daughter... He said yes, with far less hesitation...but then he made sure to tell me he could tell the difference between when it was "god speaking" or not (he can feel the thought/impulse in his heart if it was from sky daddy) what a weird fucking day that was.

They did it for GAM137 God's Not Dead: A Light in the Darkness. April 3rd, 2018

In the case of your physics professor, there's the issue of being female. When you're a woman in academia, particularly in the hard sciences, I suspect that you have to be on that shit. Misogynistic pieces of shit everywhere you look, trying to minimize you any way they can. Not that I'm saying that there's any reason to think that David A. R. White got something right. It could go either way.

What If... (Ep. 16, hear Marsh's first appearance); If Footmen Tire You, What Will Horses Do? (29, birth of "communist accent"); Vultures of Horror (37); The Accidental Activist (48, Callie and Ari); The Unexpected Bar Mitzvah (57, debut for Moishe and Chip Rossetti); Agent Emes: The Fish Head (106); Passage to Zarahemla (112, The Uncles); Psalty the Songbook (133); The Singles Ward (149); The Laws of Eternity (181, the Happy Science episodes have a special place in my heart); The Mystical Laws (204); Boondock Saints (232); The Laws of the Sun (281).

Peter Anthony Anderson

If DARW got it right, it was completely by accident. Admittedly, I used to do it too, but it wasn't out of malice. It was just that some stupid behavior got put into my brain somehow. Given how quickly female professors have been to respond tells me that they get that all the time, though.

The Shack is pretty well solid gold. One of less than 5 I actually watched on the strength of the review (don't it sucks but dat review though)

Kristine VanRaalte

I posted on Facebook, "We've all had childhood trauma. Like, remember back in 2nd grade when you had to visit your mom in the ICU because she was in critical condition from an attempted suicide by setting herself on fire?" And of course, the person most proud of being a Christian basically responded with, "Yeah, everyone has problems. I tell my kid, we just need to walk it off." I really am worried about her kids.

Matt Eldritch

My go to ones are Unplanned, Miracle on 34th Street, God's Not Dead, Wonder Woman 1984, Zack Snyder's Justice League and Batman V Superman.

Kristine VanRaalte

That's basically what Heath says when Noah isn't on.

Celestial Crafter

I love that when I got to the part about the Preamble I started singing it a la Schoolhouse Rock, and stopped when Heath said no one knows it past "we the people" only to go, "Say you weren't forced to learn the whole thing in US History without saying it." (Yes, we were made to learn it, and I graduated 21 years ago) XD

Celestial Crafter

Holy f*ck, that's beyond horrifying that that was her answer.

Daniel Mancini

I saw this movie for a fun hate watch and I do believe in the actual movie they claimed she did have a phd in aerospace engineering but did not call her a doctor. I could be misremembering though. That all segment of the movie was insane.

It is incredibly hard for me to recite the Preamble without singing it because of Schoolhouse Rock.

The Loose Change episode is one of my faves.

Uriah Jackson

That reminds me a bit more of Doug Walker than I'd prefer.

Uriah Jackson

The guy who wanted his kids out of public schools so they wouldn't see images of black and white people together, then refused to relinquish his second wife's kids when she lost custody to her (prior still legally married to) husband? If he's the example, maybe they should bother homeschoolers more often.

Max Grivno

Guys, I just wanted to thank you. Monday was a monumentally rough day, but then I received the e-mail announcing this episode and my day brightened.

Kristine VanRaalte

I wish I had replied to her..."Yeah, it's no 'War on Christmas,' but it did seem traumatic at the time.

Fernando Martin del Campo

Hey guys. Did you listen to what Cognitive Dissonance had to say about Better Help? Do you disagree? I was surprised when I listened to the ad

Andrew Nielsen

They respond in Episode 451 of the Scathing Atheist, but in short yes.

Kristine VanRaalte

Me too. For me it was 8th grade and I graduated 8th grade so long ago they still called 8th grade promotion "graduation." But I remember it now from SHR.
