This month we wanna break down the worst possible...werewolf movie. Hit us with your worst shots and we shall undemocratically choose one!

Comments

Ilan Woll

The obvious, Teen Wolf

TBoneSF

Lycan Colony

Kleptichron

You already did Twilight... Why not New Moon?

Andrew H

They already did that. But New Moon would be a better fit for the month's theme.

Andrew H

More people need to see the glorious trash that is Underworld.

CarrieBoo

The second Twilight movie. New Moon.

Apocalypse Cowboy

I can't think of a better option than "An American Werewolf in Paris", the widely hated sequel to "London" (also starring the tongue pierce guy from "Rat Race")

Nicolette

The rats are coming! The werewolves are here!

Mung Jury

Howling: New Moon Rising. It has a budget of $12.38. The writer, director, and star of the movie gives himself multiple sex scenes and musical numbers as an Australian Margaritaville cowboy. Almost everyone else in the movie are non-actors who just lived in the shitty little town this was filmed in. I cannot overstate how terrible this movie is.

The Younglings Had It Coming

An American Werewolf in Paris. An absolutely terrible sequel to a horror classic made 16 years later. Also, a great showcase for why all movies made between 1992 and 2012 were terrible.

Chonkerooni

Cursed starring Lex Luthor, himself, Jesse Eisenberg.

Paul Freelend

Wolf (1994), starring Jack Nicholson Cursed (2005), by Wes Craven and including Scott Baio

Geoffrey T. Blackwell

Bill Nighy really hams it up in that one. He knows *exactly* what movie he's in.

The Mind of Nemily

Silver Bullet... It's a Stephen King adaptation, it has Bary Nusey, and it has a werewolf with a baseball bat.

Chonkerooni

The Underworld series is so ridiculous I can't help but enjoy them.

Trepanda

The Howling 2:...Your Sister is a Werewolf. Starring Sir Christopher Lee!

Rob Johnson

Wolves 2014. Jason Mamoa. It’s delightfully terrible.

David Merrill

The Beast Must Die. It’s amazing. It’s a mystery and literally they stop the movie about 20 minutes before the end to ask if you have figured it out. Plus it has Peter Cushing and Michael Gambon in it

Christian Galitzine

Oh god I first watched that one with two young lesbian friends when I was in highschool and boy was I the odd one out in that room.

MutatedWisdom

I'm thinking Werrwilf, I mean Wohrwelf, no, Warwolff... hold on a sec. I'd like to see Werewolf (1996) even though MST3K already did it.

You can just think of me as That One Guy

Howling 2? I've never seen it, but apparently Christopher Lee felt so bad about appearing in it that he apologised to Joe Dante on the set of Gremlins 2...

HidariMak

Teen Wolf Too. Remember the movie "Teen Wolf"? No? Well, this is a sub-mediocre "me too" take by less talented people.

Cbz

I was going to suggest this, but other than one humourous scene, I remember it just being pretty boring, rather than "bad!" Lol

Amy Baloo

Isn't New Moon the story where Edward disappears and Jacob "has to" spend time with Bella? Or is that Eclipse? I don't remember, I just recall one being more werewolf centric.

Unofficial_Opinion

Wolf Cop. It’s adjacent to your recent spate of 80’s action drivel (even though it’s fairly recent). It’s got a sequel, too!

Mark H

Whatever the second one was—it’s all about Jacob becoming a werewolf, so it fits!

catstone

Project: Metalbeast

Unofficial_Opinion

The Howling is pretty bad also, I think. But I know it’s got a following.

Bossasaur

Howling 2 - with the incomprehensible Reb Brown

Bossasaur

Silver Bullet - with Gary Busey being Gary Busey

Chris B

Seconding Wolf Cop

Mark H

That does look unpleasant!

Christopher Arguin

No one suggested Lycan Colony? The special effects, the acting, the humorous poking fun at alcoholics, what more do you want?

Jerry Rees

The Howling: New moon Rising. On top of juat being a terrible movie went all Silent Night Deadly Night 2 and just grabbed footage from the other movies to fill out this one.

Michael Böhm

Does Brotherhood of the Wolf count?

Michael Colon

Teen Wolf Too Sweet holy christ. I don't know who even saw this movie. But I feel compelled to bring the world down with me and see the worst werewolf movie ever.

I_know_you_dont_really_care

Obviously every single Twilight movie. Underworld, because it has vampires too. Don't you dare destroy American Werewolf in London, I will never forgive you. I'd say Wolf, but it's too boring to even make fun of.

Nolan B.

An American Werewolf in Paris…the CGI is Mummy Scorpion King-level bad, and it’s just a cheap semi-knockoff of the fantastic American Werewolf in London.

Adam Parkin

Is this just an excuse to watch more Twilight?

Liam Smith

Seconded! My girlfriend has told me she'll start a riot if this isn't picked.

Olivia Peachley

The beast must die! Super hilarious bad from the 70s i think?

Unlearning Ethics.

American werewolf in Paris is pretty bad comedy horror. Maybe too self aware.

Kathleen

The most recent Underworld, whatever it’s name is. They dragged in a few great actors to try to hold the whole sorry film up. It’s… a lot.

Gertrude Schmidt

This might get me skewered, but after doing a werewolf movie marathon last Halloween I can honestly suggest The Howling.

Sai Like Sigh

Van Helsing from 2004. It's not horrible, I just would like to hear the gang riff it.

Amanda Horne

Definitely Underworld. They almost had an okay concept going, but the execution was an absolute mess. No more Twilight please; they're boring

Mark Siefert

Lycan Colony! If you want to do a hilariously bad werewolf movie, look into Lycan Colony. It’s got buff guys in fur suits, vegan mercenaries, and witches that communicate by sticking their tongues into your ear!

Mark Siefert

YES! I just recommend it. That movie is to lycanthropy as Blood freak is to pot-addled human-turkey hybrids!

Mark Siefert

Vat is absolutely vaccinating!

Xeciash Vega

Anyone remember Cursed? Christina Ricci and several WB stars.

Kingyam

Lycan Colony. Rifftrax did that one. It's... technically a movie, I guess?

Dreamcrusher

Teen Wolf Too is an 80's classic bad/funny movie. Replaced the charm of Micheal J Fox and kept the stupidity of high school basketball with a werewolf.

Khristle

Its technically a werewolf movie. Weredog. The Tim Allen Shaggy Dog remake was god awful, and I remember being tormented with that shit at our video store. If I remember right it had the same mean spirit that the Christmas with the Kranks had, which makes sense bc 2004-2006 was sort of that era of just nasty vibe Tim Allen movies

Alex Hencken

The Wolfman (2010) with Anthony Hopkins, Bencio Del Toro, as father and son.

Matty B

You mean Bloodborne the movie?

tronvillain

I strongly suggest The Carrier (1988). It definitely has a werewolf (at about seven minutes in), and then proceeds to go totally off the rails: https://youtu.be/nkbNCzt0uaM

tronvillain

But... that's a good movie.

Mobius Rex

Seconded! Jesse Eisenberg as a werewolf. Much scary. Very terror.

Trish Roper

Howling 2. Hilariously awful and 80's

Julie Wine&Reason

Two votes because spouse saw your recommendation over my shoulder and said "That one's bizarre. We have a copy..." and they're a connoisseur of best/worst horror movies.

Nolan B.

Agreed, Dog Soldiers is one the very few great werewolf movies and doesn’t use a bunch of shoddy CGI.

Makin' do.

The howling 2 your sister's a werewolf Just watch the trailer I can't say anything that is more explanatory than the mess that's this trailer https://youtu.be/y36te2qOSWk

steven burritt

i have not watched many but the twilight movies have werewolves and are real bad if you want a 2nd go round at them. wolf with nicholson, pfieffer, and spader could make a good episode. the underworld movies were bad as well and good make a fun episode. Those are fairly main stream movies ppl would know about or seen so could follow along.

James Russell

Werewolves on Wheels, which I don't think is actually a bad film per se, but it surely is weird.

James Russell

Two votes. I haven't actually seen this, but I'd love to see how GAM cope with Andy Milligan.

Kidda Sweet

Strippers Vs. Werewolves 2012

brokenspoke

The original The Wolf Man (1941) is also a weird thing. It has one of my favorite unintentionally funny lines: "Fighting against superstition is as hard as fighting against Satan himself," spoken by a christian reverend while complaining the funeral rites of another culture.

Mama Llaga

I watched "Werewolves on Wheels" too, and found it hilariously bad. It seemed even worse than "Wolfen" and the 3 worst "Howling" movies put together. It's got Satan worshipers, homoerotic bikers, and no real plot to speak of. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0067972/

Amanda

I mean, I'd kind of like to suggest the Twilight movies, but they were just boring. I honestly fell asleep during them and didn't even bother with the last one, though that's probably the best for vomitious werewolf content, since they don't seem to think it's at all weird for the werewolf character to be "imprinted" (code for sexually obsessed) with a newborn baby. Gross. I do remember the Howling movies being pretty good fun though. Could be fun to revisit those.

Leon Heartly

Say, isnt "bad wolf" a Doctor Who thing?

David

Twilight New Moon y'all! You have been putting it off too long.

Antonio A Barroso

FDR: American Badass. Franklin Delano Roosevelt fights werewolves. Does he have machine guns built into his wheelchair? You’ll have to watch to find out.

Don Toovey

Wolf with Jack Nicholson James Spader and Michelle Phiefer

From Patreon with Love

The Wolfman (2010) There is a shirtless, werewolf, Anthony Hopkins in this one. Also it is super boring.

Single Malt Sinner

The Beast of Bray Road (2005). It’s painful to watch, but It hurts so good.

Dan Myers

Long time listener first time commenting. I'd like to throw "Rawhead Rex" into the ring. It's...wild.

Werewolf? Overdere!

Pezski

When does the March bonus ep drop?

CmdrPherret

Double Dragon (1994) with 8/100 on the tomato scale
