Auto-ads/kinda passively participating in that system is one thing, but I have to say gambling ads are a hard line as far as supporting the product(s) for me. Even stuff like Betterhelp sharing customer data illegally is *bad*, but a company that can't even pretend to not be preying on exploitable listeners? Hm. If you don't feel that is too far, what is?

I think of it like this - there would be nothing wrong with advertising a company that sells alcohol. It's a legal product enjoyed safely by many. But, I have a problem with endorsing a company who sells alcohol right outside the detox ward. That's specifically trying to draw in addicted people who are actively harmed by the product. And that's what Draft Kings does. They have many, many aspects of their programming that are specifically designed to enroll people with gambling addiction, and they have several features which actively increase the odds of gambling addiction. These are not accidental - they were created intentionally because their business model is based on gambling addicts.
