Why cant they have Satan ever be the good guy? I mean in their mythology he is sometimes the snake in Eden( in modern retelling) have Satan/Lucifer say something like " Me? i am the bad guy? I granted you freedom and knowledge, all the things God denied you, I was sent here for choosing to side with YOU against tyranny and through it all i am punished and blamed for the sins HE layed onto you. Always thought that would be a good twist for an apocalypse movie, the whole thing hinging on the plot looking like a demon invasion, with one guy we assume was an angel trying to help us, then the twist is the demons are actually angels and the "angel" helping us was Lucifer.
